This year Sony made two flagships announcements this year, Xperia XZ2 at MWC 2018 and Xperia XZ3 at IFA 2018 but the best is yet to come. The third announcement is expected to be of Xperia XZ4 and CAD renders of the smartphone surfaced online today.
Sony Xperia XZ4 is said to come with a triple camera setup in the rear joining the likes of Samsung Galaxy A7 2018, Huawei P20 Pro and OPPO R17 Pro. The cameras will have a slight bump similar to the OnePlus 6 or OnePlus 6T. This is quite an upgrade from the predecessor Xperia XZ3 which has a single camera on the rear. However, the front will still offer a single 19MP selfie camera.
Reliable leakster @OnLeaks with collaboration with MySmartPrice released the CAD renders or design blueprints of the Z4. The source has previously leaked accurate CAD based designs in the past. There is also a 360-degree view video showing off the design of the device.
As for the Xperia XZ4, it features a 6.5 inch display with 21:9 aspect ratio and without a notch or sliding mechanism which will likely offer a less screen-to-body ratio than other flagships. The side have no bezels but there are slim bezels on the top and small chin below. Though the triple camera information looks likely to be true, there is no mention about the specifications of these sensors. The fingerprint sensor will be embedded under the flattened side button and will come without a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It will measure 166.9 x 77.4 x 7.7 mm and includes a USB Type-C at the bottom.
Currently there is not much information about the handset but it is expected to launch at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2019 which is scheduled to be held from 25 to 28 February in Barcelona.
