While their latest Redmi Note 5 Pro is up for release in China, Xiaomi is also planning to hit the international markets with the Redmi Note 5 Pro. — Roland Quandt (@rquandt) March 14, 2018
According to the tweet, the phone will be launching in European markets with appropriate LTE bands too. And talking about the pricing in specific to Europe, the 32GB variant is said to be priced around 230 Euros and the 64GB variant will be priced at 270 Euros.
Xiaomi calls the Redmi Note 5 Pro “India’s camera beast”, so let us actually checkout the camera specifications. So yeah, talking about the optics the device comes with a dual rear camera setup which has a 12MP+5MP sensor. So basically the 12MP primary camera comes with an aperture of f/2.2 and the secondary 5MP camera has an aperture of f/2.0.
Now talking about the interesting stuff, Xiaomi has previously never focused much over the front camera, but that’s not the same scenario with this device, the front shooter is a 20MP beast and comes with the Sony IMX376 sensor. Taking about the other specifications, the device sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display which turns out to be a 2.5D curved glass.
Though the device runs on Nougat out of the box, you can still see a layer of MIUI on top of it. Apple’s 6.1 inch LCD iPhone Leaked in Case Renders, Familiar Design with a Single Camera!
Apple was supposed to launch four new iPhones this year in September out of which the iPhone SE2 is reported to be almost cancelled. Out of the remaining three iPhones, it is said that two will be having OLED displays while the other one will come with an LCD panel. Now, a render of the iPhone having the LCD display has surfaced online.
The render procured by BGR is sourced from the case maker Ghostek. The render reveals the full design of the upcoming LCD iPhone and is claimed to be as per the detailed files obtained from the factory that manufactures iPhones. Take a look at the render:
Earlier we have seen a video detailing three dummy models of the alleged new iPhones and the design of this leaked render goes on par with the suspected dummy model of the LCD iPhone in past. Out of all three, this LCD iPhone will be the most affordable one with fewer features than the other two.
The render based on Apple’s proposition indicates that the device will sport only a single camera at the back which is much likely to be a newer sensor with a larger lens compared to the iPhone 8 which can be seen clearly in the render. However, the other two OLED models are expected to carry an optically stabilised similar Dual Camera setup, similar to the one seen on the iPhone X.
The smartphone has a Notch on top carrying the legacy of the iPhone X which includes several sensors, indicating the presence of traditional IR based Face ID. As usual, there is no Touch ID or physical navigation keys, instead, the same gesture-based navigation system will be adopted from the previous iPhone X. Also, the bezels are quite more pronounced than the OLED versions due to the fact that there needs to be a display controller below the display. The OLED ones can be curved inside to minimize the bezels while its hard to do the same with an LCD panel.
Though the renders from Ghostek seem legitimate and almost accurate, we have to take it with a pinch of salt until we hear anything official from Apple. We will keep you updated with further information, Stay tuned.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Front Display Panel Leaked, Shows Familiar Design!
After the successful launch of the Galaxy S9 and the S9+ early this year, the Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9. Today a image has appeared online showing the front panel of the upcoming phablet. According to the rumors, the company has patented a smartphone design with one of the highest screen –to-body ratios available yet. It can be seen on the recently leaked hands-on image of the Galaxy S10.
The leak comes from reliable tipster named Ice Universe which shows similar design element like its predecessor Galaxy Note 8. The device will be borrowing certain elements like the dual curbed display, front camera cut-outs, sensors and the earpiece. Still the smartphone seems to have slimmer bezels on the sides, top and bottom.
Previously, the same tipset claimed the Galaxy Note 9 will have a bigger battery compared to its predecessors. It has previously appeared in GeekBench with model number SM-N960U which revealed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. From previous leaks, it will be featuring a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio display along with a dual camera setup in the rear of 12+12MP configuration while offering a 8MP camera in the front. It will be available in Black, Blue, Brown, Grey and Lavender color options.
Samsung has been speculated to be working on a under display fingerprint sensor which will be included in the Galaxy S9 Note. A new report from MobielKopen confirms it. The patent has no cutouts for physical fingerprint sensor and mentions a secondary display At the rear. The device may also sport a different display technology called “Y-OCTA display” or “Youm On-Cell Touch AMOLED”. Other rumoured features include Bibxy 2.0 and S-pen. More will be revealed after its launched in August 9, few days after the IFA event.
Moto One Power Live Hands On Photos Leaked Online!
Last month, it was revealed that Motorola One Power is coming soon, a Moto phone with Android One and finally, a quite modern design. And just two weeks ago, the specs of the Motorola One Power also leaked. Now, a few photos of the phone have leaked online which shows the phone in its full glory.
Some people may hate the design and looks, as Motorola has made it quite modern but added a notch and it’s not just a small one like Essential Phone or Lenovo Z5. The notch is quite big and houses the front-facing camera, LED flash, speaker, and sensors. The LED flash increased the size of the notch a bit but at the same time, it is beneficial to users as they will be able to capture selfies in low light.
Now, in the above image, the notch and the sensors, LED, camera, speaker are visible. Here it can be seen that despite the photo show Motorola One Power in the black color variant, the bezels on top aren’t quite thin. But let’s not just talk about the notch only.
While we have seen the front which shows the display and the notch, there isn’t an image showing what lies at the bottom, below the display. As of now, we are not pretty sure whether the Motorola Batwing Logo Placed on the back is actually a fingerprint scanner or not. But it’s quite sure that if it is not the scanner, many Motorola fans will get angry because of the absence of dimple.
On the back, a dual camera setup can be spotted along with the LED flash and the Moto branding, again it can not be totally confirmed whether it is really a scanner or not, though it kinda looks like a standard scanner. Now, the camera setup is quite familiar and resembles the camera module on the iPhone X. There are two sensors, placed into the module separated by a small gap where lies the dual tone LED flash.
On the back, at the bottom, there is the Android One branding which is a bit appealing to many as users whoever would grab the phone can have the peace of mind regarding Android updates and security patches, and enjoy a bloatware free Stock Android experience. At the bottom of the phone, there is the USB-C port, which is a good addition along with the speaker grille. But we don’t see a headphone jack there, so maybe there could be one at the top.
In terms of specifications, the Motorola One Power will sport a 6.2-inch screen. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. There is one 12MP and a 5MP lens on the back, and the selfie camera is an 8MP shooter. The phone will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and will also get Android P as it is an Android One phone, the phone packs a considerable big 3780mAh battery.
