Xiaomi’s Feb 14th launch rumors have been in the air for quite a while now. The company keeps teasing about the launch of a new device all over its official social media handles. According to our sources, the device is more likely to be called Redmi Note 5. To our surprise, a new report states that there will also be a Pro variant of the device.
We have seen specification leaks of the Redmi Note 5 earlier this month. The device is expected to feature an integrated metallic chassis with nano injection molding design. As far as we know, it will come with a 5.7 inch 1080 x 2160 display running on the familiar Snapdragon 625 processor. There will be two RAM variants- 3GB and 4GB RAM with internal storage capacities 32GB and 64GB respectively.
In terms of camera, a 12MP sensor is placed on the rear and 5MP in the front. It will draw juice from a 4,000mAh battery. There will be dual hybrid SIM slots. The most surprising and disappointing fact is that this device will still run MIUI 9.5 based on Nougat. We have no idea why Xiaomi has chosen to run a device with Nougat in 2018.
The Pro version will showcase FHD+ resolution with a 5.7” or 5.9” display. A Snapdragon 636 chipset is expected on the device which will be coupled with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Maybe the device which we have been seeing as Redmi Note 5 actually turns out to be Redmi Note 5 Pro because of the camera leaks which came out today by a twitter user.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to be priced below Rs. 12,000 while the Pro variant will be priced under 15 thousand price bracket. Both the phones are going to be Flipkart Exclusive. We’ll get to know the confirmed details of the devices once it gets launched, stay tuned!

Now ahead of its official launch, the Motorola One makes an appearance in the benchmarking site GeekBench. Though the listing didn’t give all the specs away, it gives a fair idea what to expect from the handset.
From the listing, the Motorola One will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and coupled with 4GB RAM. The device that was benchmarked ran on Android 8.1 Oreo. We can expect some more memory configurations and the possibility of shipping with the latest Android 9.0 Pie. The back Moto logo doubles up as a fingerprint sensor for security.

Alleged Vivo V11 Hands on Images & Specs Leaked!
We recently saw the leaked Vivo X23 hands on images and now, we have yet another similar looking smartphone leak from the Chinese giant Vivo. It is the Vivo V11 that has leaked in its full glory, revealing all its specifications and design.
Firstly, coming to the leaked images, the Vivo X11 comes with an edge to edge display with a minor chin at the bottom and a tear drop shaped notch on the top that we recently saw with the OPPO F9 and OPPO R17. Moreover, the phone comes with rounded corners and a glass back that houses a vertically stacked dual cameras and LED flash on the left.
There is no physical fingerprint scanner on the device and like the Vivo X23 and X21, the Vivo 11 too will rely on an in-display solution for unlocking the device. Looking at the top carefully, you can spot the earpiece grill located on the top bezel.
Now, talking about the specifications, the Vivo V11 will come with a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display having a resolution of Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
Furthermore, the phone is reported to pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset at its core, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Memory can be expanded further up to 256GB using a MicroSD Card.
In the optics department, the phone gets a dual camera setup at the rear, featuring a 12-megapixel primary shooter along with a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. At the front, we have a 25-megapixel snapper for selfies. As of now, only the megapixel count is known.
The V11 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo, backed by a 3400mAh battery. The phone measures 157.91 x 75.0 x 7.9mm and is quite lightweight at 156g. Except for this, there is no other information regarding the device. Vivo might launch it soon, alongside the X23. Stay tuned for more updates.
Huawei Mate 20 series with Kirin 980 confirmed to Launch in October
The Chinese giant Huawei was supposed to launch three contenders in its upcoming Mate series, including the Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and the Mate 20 Lite that was recently leaked in press renders. We might also see a Mate 20 Porsche edition with some unique features like the last year’s Mate RS Porsche edition that came with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Today, Huawei’s Consumer Business Group (CBG) CEO Richard Yu has affirmed that the Mate 20 series will be launched in October, in his press release.
The press release sent by Huawei to the African media states that the Huawei Mate 20 will be coming in October with Kirin 980 SoC built at its core, and is claimed to be the worlds first 7nm chipset in the same, which will boost performance by 20 per cent while improving battery efficiency by 40 per cent.
Furthermore, the new chipset will be touting eight CPU cores out of which four are powerful A76 cores with maximum clock speeds of 2.8GHz and four are power efficient A55 cores. The chipset seems really promising given that it scored impressive 3,50,000+points on Antutu Benchmark, as per the initial leaks.
Also, Huawei recently teased that the Mate 20 will pack a larger capacity battery than Huawei Mate 10 and P20, hinting towards a slightly larger 4,200mAh battery.
As seen in the P20 Pro, we expect either just the Pro or else both of them to sport triple cameras at the back. Moreover, the rumours hint at 8GB RAM variants too. The Mate 20 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display with a Notch while the Mate 20 Pro may have a larger 6.9-inch Notched display, both with QuadHD+ resolution. A 3D Facial recognition based unlock system is what we look forward to.
We also have the Mate 20 Lite in the lineup which comes with dual cameras and is expected to have the Kirin 710 SoC on its board.
Evidently, Apple and Qualcomm will be soon coming with their own 7nm based chipsets manufactured by TSMC, namely Apple A12 and Snapdragon 855.
