Vivo is all set to launch its Vivo X27 smartphone on March 19 at a launch event in China. The smartphone is placed in the upper mid-range segment and comes with some pretty interesting features like pop-up selfie camera.
The smartphone has already made its appearance in Chinese certification authority TENAA revealing key specs. Now, the phone appears at Master Lu’s benchmarking tool revealing the chipset that powers it. The benchmark shows that the Vivo X27 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC clocked at 2208MHz. It is paired with 8GB RAM. The TENAA listing revealed only the 8GB RAM option with 128GB or 256GB internal storage. The benchmarking result confirms the device to feature a 6.39 inch display with FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels).
The handset managed a score of 87,086 points on the CPU test, 55,235 points on the GPU test and 28.920 and 25,390 points on the memory and storage tests respectively. It adds up to a total score of 206,631 which puts it in the “high-end” category as per Master Lu’s grading.
From another report, a official render of the Vivo X27 has also surfaced online showing the triple rear cameras and the pop-up selfie camera. The 16MP selfie camera slides out from the right side of the phone. The bezels are extremely thin and are of equal sizes. We can also spot a thin slit in the frame for the speaker. The triple rear cameras are arranged vertically on the right side of the device. The LED flash is placed between the first and the second sensor. There is no visible fingerprint sensor hinting to an in-screen one.
The device measures 157.66 x 74.26 x 8.95 mm and weighs 188.3g. It will be backed by a 3,920 mAh battery. TENAA has also updated the listing with the images of the smartphone. One of the variant seems to sport the same blue color seen in the press render. The images reveal that the Vivo X27 will come with a dedicated button the left side for the Jovi AI assistant while the power button and volume rocker are placed at the right side.
