Vivo launched its Vivo V11 Pro few days back in India at an event. It came with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and a price-tag of Rs 25,990. At the device’s launch the Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced that it will be launching the Vivo V11 in the country soon but gave no further details.
Now, a report from 91mobiles states that the Vivo 11 will be a toned downed version of the Pro version and will be powered by a MediaTek SoC but the exact chipset is still unknown. The device will miss out the fourth-generation in-display fingerprint sensor and instead will sport a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
The report further mentions that the handset will likely be priced around Rs 24,000 or lower and will focus tier 3 and tier 4 cities. Like the pro variant, the Vivo V11 will be available via online and offline channels and expected to arrive in the last week of September.
The Vivo V11 is already released in Thailand, along with Vivo V11i. Vivo 11 was renamed to Vivo V11 Pro here in India, going by the recent trend of Pro variants in India.
Vivo V11i features a 6.41 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. And it is powered by a Mediatek chipset, Mediatek P60 to be exact.
In the optics department, the device sports a dual camera setup with dual tone LED flash consisting a 16MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera of f/2.4 aperture. It comes with the same 25MP front camera on the front though.
The handset is believed to be offered in Starry Night and Dazzling Gold color options. But we should take this with a pinch of salt as the company is yet to confirm the full specifications.
Nostalgic Moto Razr to make a Comeback, as a Foldable Phone!
One of the most loved cellphone in the history the Motorola Razr is coming back as an high end device. The device will be an foldable one and expected to be priced at $1500. The return of the phone isn’t confirmed yet, it’s still just a rumour.
Things have changed over time, and Motorola is now owned by Lenovo. The company is bringing back the nostalgic device in an high end segment. For most of the users that was the first “cool” cellphone that they have used.
As per Wall Street Journal report, the phone will be launched somewhere in February. The device is said to be exclusive for Verizon in the US.
As said earlier the device is rumoured to be a foldable one and the Moto by Lenovo could actually beat Samsung in the segment. However we don’t have more information on the device like the internals.

Reports suggest that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855, the most powerful chip in the market and will be coming with a foldable OLED screen. However the screen will not break or crease. This is all about the information we’ve got about the device.
The less interesting part of high end devices, the pricing, as said earlier the phone is supposed to be priced at $1500.
As mentioned above, the phone is supposed to be launched somewhere in February, so we don’t have to wait more for the specifications of the device. Adding to this, Wall Street Journal reported that the company would manufacture 200,000 units, so there wouldn’t be a massive availability for the device. Summing it up we can understand that the device is going to be a Limited edition one, and will be a pretty pricey one.
