Here you go then, Swipe has launched its new device named Swipe Elite Dual which is competitively priced at Rs.3,999 only. This year was all about dual cameras and all the mobile phone manufactures are launching affordable dual camera smartphones under the budget segment.

But today, Swipe beats em’ all, the company has today launched the Swipe Elite Dual in India. This comes with a dual rear camera, the primary one is an 8MP shooter and the secondary one is a 2MP shooter which comes with autofocus capabilities. For the all the selfie freaks out there, the device does come with a front 5MP shooter.

“Keeping in mind the demands and needs of the audience, and the latest trends we are glad to bring Elite Dual at such an affordable rate. We foresee that Swipe shall bring a change in the mobile photography market of India with the launch of this most affordable dual camera smartphone,”

said Shripal, CEO of Swipe.

Talking about the specs of this device, it sports a 5-inch display and the resolutions are not known yet, but the good thing is that the display is guarded by the shatter-proof glass. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core and is coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device offers you 8GB of internal storage, but then again, it can also be expanded using a micro SD card.

The good thing is that the device does comes with 4G LTE and also with basic features such as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS as well. Out of the box, the device runs on Android Nougat and the device offers you 3,000 mAh of battery. Talking about the price, the device is priced at just Rs.3,999 and the device is a ShopClues exclusive, the sales will be starting right tomorrow.

Samsung Galaxy J4+ & Galaxy J6+ Announced! Launching in India in September 25th.

Samsung announced the launch of two new smartphones for the mid-range segment. Dubbed as the Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ the two smartphones have been subjected to a couple of leaks before.

As for the specifications, both the Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ features a 6 inch infinity Display with a resolution of (1480 x 720 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. They run Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy J4+

The Galaxy J4+ is powered by an unknown quad-core chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz coupled with 2/3GB or RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. In the optics, it sports a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture along with a LED flash while offering a 5MP camera on the front with f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, single band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS and GLONASS, NFC and a 3.5 mm headphone jack while sensors onboard include accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. It measures 161.4 x 76.9 x7.9 mm and weighs 178 grams.

As for the Galaxy J6+, it is also powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz coupled with 3/4GB or RAM and 32GB /64GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the device sports a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front it offers a 8MP camera with f/1.9 aperture.

Connectivity options include VoLTE, single band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS and GLONASS, NFC and a 3.5 mm headphone jack while sensors onboard include accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, geomagnetic sensor, a proximity sensor and a side mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 161.4 x 76.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 178 grams.

The prices of the smartphones are not announced yet but it is rumoured to be price between Rs 10,000-Rs 20,000. The Galaxy J4+ will be available in the Black, Gold and Pink color options while the Galaxy J6+ will be available in Black, Grey and Red color options. Both the phones will be launched in India in September 25th, as Samsung have already put up dedicated teaser pages for the phones in their website.

Xiaomi Launches Mi 8 Pro & Mi 8 Lite in China

Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi 8 Fingerprint Edition and the Mi 8 Youth today in China as speculated earlier. There were various leaks and rumors regarding the launch of these devices and they are now finally official.

The major difference between the regular Mi 8 and the fingerprint edition is the presence of the in-display fingerprint scanner and a gradient finish at the rear.

To recall the specifications, the Mi 8 sports a bright 6.21-inch FHD+ OLED display and has an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The front camera used in the device is a 20 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

At the rear side, there is a vertically stacked dual camera setup. Xiaomi has gone with dual 12 MP sensors this time. The cameras feature 4 axis Optical Image Stabilization. The device makes use of AI for scene detection and video editing.

The processor used in the device is Snapdragon 845. It is coupled with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Oreo. The Xiaomi Mi 8 prices start at  CNY 3,199 (around Rs. 34,000) for the 6 GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage variant and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 38,200) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model. The device draws juice from a 3400 mah battery. The device will go on sale from September 21.

Coming to the new entry, the Mi 8 Youth. It features a 6.26 inch LCD display with a resolution of (2280 x 1080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It will be powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and will be available in three configurations: 4 GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage.

In the optics department, it will sport a dual camera setup of a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor while offering a 24MP camera at the front. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be backed by a 3,250 mAh battery. It measures 156.4 x 75.8 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams.

The device is priced at CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,800) for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant while the 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 18,000) and the 6 GB RAM/ 128 GB variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 21,200). The phone will come with three gradient color variants to choose from and will go on sale from September 25.

Innelo 1 Launched in India, Comes with 5.86inch Display with a Notch at Rs.7499

Last month, Chinese manufacturer iVOOMi announced their sub-brand Innelo in the Indian market. With the aim of targeting the online marketplace it joined hands with Amazon India for the distribution of its devices. Today the brand launched its first smartphone called as Innelo 1. The entry-level smartphone come with a top notch and a plastic body.

The Innelo 1 features a 5.86 inch display with a resolution of HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels), an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a 2.5D curved glass at the top. Under the hood, it is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MTK 6737H chipset clocked at 1.37GHz and coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

In the optics department, the device sports a 13MP camera with soft flash at the rear which consists of a 5P lens and a Samsung sensor. On the front it offers a 5MP camera with a 4P lens and 1.4µ pixel size that support Portrait mode. It comes with a circular fingerprint sensor at the back as well as Face Unlocking through its front camera.

The handset runs SmartME OS 3.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, FM Radio, Dual SIM standby (4G + 4G), and a MicroUSB port while  sensors on board include accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light and proximity sensors. It comes with a bundled earphone that connects through MicroUSB.

The Innelo 1 comes at a price tag of Rs 7,499 and will be available via Amazon India from Today. It will be available in Persian Red, Pacific Blue, Platinum Gold, Midnight Black color but the first two are yet to be available in the website. At this price it will be competing against the Redmi 6A, Honor 7S and the Yu Ace sporting 2GB and similar specs.
