Samsung Mobile has just sent invitations for the October 11 where the company is planning to launch a new Galaxy smartphone. Well, it is not that simple as it seems, Samsung has added a twist by hinting for a total of four cameras at the back alone.
The official teaser for the event tweeted by Samsung mentions “A Galaxy Event” scheduled on October 11, 2018, that will be streamed on the official site as well. Interestingly, the event reads out “4X fun”. Around a week ago, a tipster @IceUniverse claimed of Samsung planning to launch a smartphone with four cameras in 2018 which seems to be turning into reality with the above-teased Galaxy launch.
Further, the leakers and tipsters suggested that there will be a total of four cameras at the back, yes, you might be wrong if you are thinking about segregated dual front and a dual rear camera combination like we did before the clarification came out.
A recent speculation on the same hints the device to be a midrange Galaxy A-series phone, either the Galaxy A7 (2019) or the Galaxy A9 (2019) which haven’t appeared on any of the certification sites up till now. With that being said, “4x fun” part seems too confusing, on one side, we have the appeal of rumours hinting at a quad camera phone by Samsung, while on the other hand, we have logic that if the brand was to introduce any such feature, it would have chosen the same for the recently released Galaxy Note 9 or have reserved it for the upcoming Galaxy S10, it seems nearly impossible for Samsung to give four rear cameras in a non-flagship series smartphone.
What we think is that Samsung has just used this serious quote to hype its launch while in reality, “4X fun” might resemble with something like four different key features or it might be the case that the speculation of quad cameras by tipsters is false or it might even turn out to be a dual front and dual rear camera combo, barring half of the reported speculations.
As of now, we don’t have any strong information or clue about the device hence, take the above information with a pinch of salt and wait for the brand to make any official announcements.

Now, sources claim that the brand has plans to make the device available in India in the upcoming weeks. On the display front, the brand has placed a waterdrop shaped notch to house the camera which brings the screen-to-body ratio to 87%.
Right before the launch of the device, it was listed on Vmall, a Chinese e-commerce website which helped to get a hint of the specifications.
