According to the latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime is all set to hit India this week itself. The device has already been listed in Amazon India and is confirmed that it will be sold exclusively on Amazon in India.
The device comes after 2 years since its younger sibling, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, was launched in India in 2016, at a price tag of ₹11,190. Even though there is no official confirmation about the launch date of the device from Samsung, the amazon listing indicates that it will be launched within this week.Along with it, a report from IANS suggests that it will be launched at the end of this week.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will be powered by an Exynos 7870 Quad core processor, and have two variants with 3GB and 4GB RAM options. The 3GB RAM variable will come with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM model with 64GB respectively.
In the camera department there is a confusion, since the Amazon listing says that it has 13MP camera with an aperture of f/1.9 at both front and rear, while Samsung official website shows the front camera as 8MP but with same aperture.
The official listing on the Samsung website further reveals that it will be powered by a 3300mAh battery. It flaunts a uni-body metal design, and features a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The On7 Prime is expected to go at a price tag of around ₹15,000.
While there is no official information about the launch date, there is an event scheduled for tomorrow, Jan 10th, by Samsung where it is expected to launch the Galaxy A8+ (2018). There is a chance that they will announce the Galaxy On7 Prime too, in this event.
