Samsung J7 2018 Gets FCC Certified & Spotted in WiFi Alliance & Geekbench

For the last couple of days, there are some new rumors were going on about the Samsung’s upcoming devices Galaxy A6 and A6+. Now there is another smartphone from Samsung that was spotted in FCC & in Geekbench, the alleged Samsung Galaxy J7 2018. Take a look at the FCC listing of the device:

However, the FCC documentation is not revealing many details about the smartphone. But according to some other reports, it is expected that the smartphone measures 153mm x 76mm. That means the smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch display on the top. However, there will not be any 18:9 panel.

The FCC listing also hints about a number of devices under the SM-F720 series. These devices might be the different variants of the Samsung Galaxy J7 smartphone. Furthermore, the listing also suggests that the smartphones already have received Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance certifications. This means the device is going to launch in USA market.

Apart from the FCC listing, we have also come across to a GeekBench listing which revealed some of the specifications of the device. According to Geekbench listing, the device comes sports an Exynos 7885 clocked at 1.6Ghz soc under its hood and came along with 3GB of RAM. This means the device is going to be an entry level smartphone. Talking about the SOC, earlier there were some leaks about it as well. Take a look at the Geekbench listing given below:

According to the reports, it is said that Exynos 7885 is an octa-core processor which consists of dual Cortex-A73 cores coupled by six smaller Cortex-A53 cores. Also, it is built with 14nm process.

However, as of now, there are no confirmations about the smartphone from the company’s end. So let’s just wait for a couple of days more and figure out what the company is actually planning.
