Samsung is all geared up for the launch of its Galaxy S-series smartphone which are stated to launch on February 20th in San Francisco. The South Korean giant has already started teasing it and the first set of Galaxy S10 teasers are coming from Vietnam.
The first teaser video informs about the Galaxy S10. Showing several batteries charged by single battery icon may hint the reverse wireless charging feature seen on the Mate 20 Pro smartphones. Or it may indicate that fast wired charge also.
The second video shows the camera capabilities of the handset. The six-second long clip shows the selfie camera shooting non-hazy images even while the subject is in motion. In the third video, the Galaxy S10’s in-display fingerprint sensor can be seen which will be the first of its kind using ultrasonic technology.
In another report, the detailed specs of the Galaxy S10 series smartphones (Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e) have surfaced online. Though we can’t verify but they seem to be line with the previous leaks from the past weeks.
The specs do have some slight deviation from the rumoured specs like the screen size of the Galaxy S10. It was rumoured to sport a 6.4 inch display but the sheet claims a 6.3 inch display with a resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels.
The Galaxy S10 and the higher Galaxy S10+ comes with triple camera setup with a 12MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 12MP regular lens with f/1.5 aperture and a 16MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture. The Galaxy S10e is listed to come with a regular and ultra wide camera but it is rumoured to sport a combination of a regular and telephoto lens.
The new 10MP selfie camera will be able to capture 4K video and have dual pixel AF but they don’t mention optical stabilisation. The new super slow-mo capabilities are also impressive with 0.4s and 0.8s of video which are twice as long as their processors.
There is only a week to the unveiling of the Galaxy S10 series smartphones where all of these leaks will be put to an end. Stay tuned for more details.
