Samsung Galaxy S lineup of flagship smartphones have been bringing some really good and innovative features for quite some time and the current flagships, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are also quite popular. But looks like Samsung is ready to refresh the Galaxy S lineup once again and is working on the next flagship- The Galaxy S10.
Nothing much is known about the device itself, but a new report from South Korea suggests that Samsung might launch the galaxy S10 in three variants. This will be the first time when Samsung launches three variants of a flagship which will be available globally- yes, Samsung launches the S Active model, but those are limited to a few markets only.
A new report from ET News, citing multiple industry sources, claims that Samsung is currently developing three different variants of the Galaxy S10. Codenamed as ‘Beyond 0′, ‘Beyond 1′, and ‘Beyond 2′, all of these three variants will be different in terms of specs and offerings. The Beyond 0 and Beyond 1, which may be the galaxy S10, will feature a 5.8-inch display whereas the Beyond 2, which could be the Galaxy S10+ will pack a giant 6.2-inch display.
In terms of the camera as well, there might be significant differences as the Beyond 0, Beyond 1 and Beyond 2 will sport single, dual and triple camera setup respectively. The Beyond 2, which is the top variant, is tipped to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. In terms of pricing, the Beyond 2 will be the most costly S10 while the Beyond 0 will be the cheapest model.
Samsung is also working on a foldable smartphone apart from the Galaxy 10, however, now it’s a race as HTC is believed to be the first one who would introduce a foldable phone so Samsung needs to hurry up a bit in terms of research and development to find a suitable way to implement the foldable display.
Blackberry Ghost & Ghost Pro To Launch as Blackberry Evolve & Evolve Pro
Earlier we knew that Blackberry’s Indian licensee, Optiemus would be launching two new Blackberry smartphones- Blackberry Ghost and Ghost Pro. Even the previous reports and leaks referred to the phones using that name. However, today, popular tipster Even Blass has said out that the phones will be named as Blackberry Evolve and Evolve Pro. He further clarified that ‘Ghost’ was just a codename for the device.
Apparently the Ghost and Ghost Pro from India's Optiemus are coming to market as the BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X.
— Evan Blass (@evleaks) July 17, 2018
The device, codenamed Blackberry Ghost was a thing for the first time a few months back and then some renders emerged. Recently we heard that the phone will pack a big 4000mAh battery.
One more Ghost tidbit: it's got a 4,000mAh battery, which would be one of the largest in a flagship-class device.
— Evan Blass (@evleaks) July 5, 2018
As of now, the rumors claim that the Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X will sport a futuristic look from 2018, i.e. a bezel-less display. However, we are not quite sure about the implementation of the bezel-less design as the renders showed no sign of notch. Though the renders point towards a glass and metal build. In other markets, Blackberry partnered with TCL, but even with those phones, Blackberry seemed to stick with mid-sized batteries with only one exception- Blackberry Motion. Blackberry Motion is the only smartphone from the brand packing a huge 4000mAh battery.
There is no info regarding the launch of Blackberry Evolve and Evolve Pro, but the Optiemus made Blackberry phones may be exclusive in India and may mark the starting of a bezel-less design era for Blackberry.
