Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus CAD Renders Shows it’s Dual Camera in Hole Design!

Published

on

Samsung Galaxy S10 is one of the most anticipated smartphones next year and the usual spate of leaks and rumours about the smartphone has already started. Today the folks at 91mobiles with partnership with @OnLeaks gave an insight to the design aspect and specification of the upcoming smartphone.

The website posted a couple of 5K renders along with a 360 degree video. The Galaxy S10 Plus is expected to feature a 6.4 inch dual curved edge display which is likely to be an AMOLED panel with QHD resolution. The renders show a triple camera setup at the back with LED flash stacked in a horizontal arrangement. The triple camera setup is expected to have a standard lens, telephoto and a wide-angle lens.

The front seems to have a dual camera cut-out at the top right corner of the display. The design was previously shown at the Samsung Developers Conference (SDC) last month called Infinity-O design. Due to the cut-out the device almost has a bezel-less design and will come with a high screen-to-body ratio. The S10 Plus measures 157.5 x 75.0 x 7.8 and 9 mm thickness due to the slight bump of the rear camera. The renders show the handset in a gradient Ice Blue hue, recently launched for the Galaxy S9 and the S9 Plus.

The handset will come with a in-display fingerprint sensor which will be the first in a Samsung device. But unlike the latest under-display fingerprint sensors made by other manufacturers, Samsung’s will be an ultrasonic one, that uses sound waves to read the fingerprint resulting in a faster experience and more-accurate results. Apart from that, the Galaxy S10 Plus will also ditch the company’s Iris scanning feature for a new version of Face Unlock. It retains the old 3.5mm headphone jack and has a USB Type-C port along with a loudspeaker at the bottom. The top edge houses the ejectable SIM tray while the power button and volume rocker is placed on the right with a dedicated Bixby button on the left.

As for the specs of the device, it is expected to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 chipset in the US market while shipping it with Exynos 9820 SoC in other markets including India. Rumours point to 12GB RAM and 1TB internal storage variant for the Galaxy S10 Plus but the standard Plus variant will likely come with a 6GB/8GB RAM. It will run Samsung’s new One UI on top of Android 9 Pie. Other rumours hint to a lite variant and an ultra premium 5G model. It is expected to be unveiled on the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 which will be held in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11.

Google Pixel 3 Lite & Pixel 3 Lite XL CAD Renders Revealed!

Published

on

While the Google Pixel handsets have been hailed as best camera phones one can buy, the tech Giant has taken the feedback seriously as it plans to offer its best camera at Nexus-level pricing. The Pixel 3 Lite is said to be an affordable variant of the Pixel 3 and has been subjected to a couple of leaks before.

However, another tipster Onleaks claimed that there will be another larger model to be called as Pixel 3 Lite XL. Today, with collaboration with 91mobiles, he released first 5K renders and a 360-video of the smartphones confirming previous renders.

The Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 Lite XL seems to have a similar design as its parent Pixel 3 duo but have their differences as well. There is no notched display on either of them and it seems they have slight bezels on the side and top along with a chin at the bottom. Unlike the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, there will be only one speaker which will double up as an earpiece. Ditching the dual selfie camera design, the Pixel 3 Lite and its brother will get a single selfie snapper. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone jack on both the smartphones which aren’t available on the Pixel 3 duo.

Both the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL carry the volume rocker and the power button on the right side and an ejectable SIM on the left side. The lower side houses a USB Type-C port paired with speaker grills. On the rear, they both sport a single camera with a camera bump coupled with dual tone LED flash, a circular fingerprint sensor and a Google logo below. Like their flagship siblings, the upcoming smartphones will be available in black and white hues with a green neon power button on the white color option. The Pixel 3 Lite XL also seems to sport a polycarbonate construction instead of a glass one.

As for its specs, the Pixel 3 Lite will come with a 5.5 inch 18:5:9 display while the Pixel 3 Lite XL will feature a 6 inch 18:5:9 display . Both the devices measure 8.2 mm in thickness which increases to 9 mm when the rear camera bump is included. The Pixel 3 Lite measures 151.3 x 70.1 mm while the XL measures 160 x 76.1mm.

The earlier codenamed Sargo is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage while offering a 12MP rear and 8MP front camera. It will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and will be backed by a 2,915 mAh battery. The elder sibling is expected to carry similar specs though it is rumored to house a Snapdragon 710 under the hood. As for now, Google is yet to give an official word on the price or the launch date of the smartphones.

A few days ago, we witnessed the Sony Xperia XZ4‘s CAD render leaks which revealed the presence of the triple camera setup on the device. Now we have got some information regarding the Compact version of the XZ4 lineup, the Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact.

The major visual difference you will notice immediately is the difference in the screen size and the bezels. The Sony Xperia XZ4 features a modern design with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 6-inch display, while the brand has equipped the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact with a 5-inch screen and noticeable bezels. The device measures 139.9 x 66.5 x 9.3 mm according to the renders.Sony-Xperia-XZ4-Compact-3

The bottom bezel holds the Sony logo. The side bezels are very much noticeable, unlike the regular variant. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side of the device as usual. There is a single rear camera on the device while the regular Sony Xperia XZ4 features triple cameras.  An LED flash is mounted to the right of the rear camera.

There is a single front-facing camera on the device. The Xperia XZ4 Compact will retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack which was absent on the Xperia XZ4 renders. This is a welcome move as the number of people depending on wired audio devices is still more and having a headphone jack on the device is a positive gesture considering the compact nature of the device.

Today a Twitter User @IshanAgarwal24 has revealed both the design aspect as well as the specs of the upcoming smartphone.

From the leaked images, the McLaren Edition doesn’t look much different from the regular variant at the front with its waterdrop notch and large display. However, the rear gets a real upgrade with a new glass design with carbon-fibre pattern underneath instead of its single color design.
