After releasing the M-series, A-series and the flagship S-series earlier this year, Samsung’s next smartphone is expected to be the Galaxy Note 10. The Galaxy Note 10 will be the twelfth handset in the series since its debut back in 2011. It will be the successor to the Galaxy Note 9 and may be unveiled in August like the previous Note series devices. Now, 91Mobiles with partnership with popular tipster @onleaks has published CAD-based renders and 360-degree.
The published renders match with the information from the previous leaks. They reveal that Samsung will be retaining the punch hole design used in the Galaxy S10 series on the Galaxy Note 10 with a slight modification. The selfie hole on the Infinity-O display will be positioned in the center rather than the upper right corner.
The display measures 6.3 which makes smaller than the panel on its predecessor. There will be curved edges on both sides with extremely thin bezels on all four sides. It will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. We expect the South Korean manufacturer to use a Dynamic AMOLED panel with HDR10+ support and a resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels.
Coming to the back, the smartphone sports a new look with a triple camera module. The three camera setup will debut in the Note series with the 2019 model with a new placement. It is arranged vertically in the top left corner with the LED flash placed near the first sensor. The handset will miss out a 3.5 mm headphone jack along with the Bixby button. Samsung has joined the list of the manufacturers like Apple, Google and OnePlus who killed off the dedicated audio jack from its flagship smartphones.
The left side of the device has the power button and volume rockers while the right side is kept empty. On the bottom side, there is a speaker grill, S-pen, mic and a USB Type-C port which users can use as an audio jack. The SIM card tray resides at the top alongside another mic and a IR blaster. It measures approximately 151 x 72 and 7.9 mm thickness which increases to 8.3 mm when the camera bump is included. According to @onleaks, the Galaxy Note 10 will feature a very thin metal plate that becomes a tad thicker at the buttons, similar to what we saw on the Galaxy S10 5G.
As for specifications, the Galaxy Note 10 is expected to have a Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9820 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and run Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. There have been rumors of the Pro version as well which will a larger 6.75 inch display, quad-camera setup that includes a ToF sensor, USB 3.0 and 45W fast charging support. The Galaxy Note 10 Pro variant will have capacitive or pressure-sensitive buttons instead of physical ones.
There is no word about the official launch date but we expect it to be announced sometime around next month. Till then, keep tuned.
