Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Listed on Samsung Africa Support Pages

Published

on

Recently the all-new upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been prematurely listed on the Samsung’s regional website with the model number SM-N960U. I know what you’ve been thinking, yes this is the same model number which has been spotted over GeekBench earlier this week. But now if you want to check this on Samsung’s regional website, then sorry my friend because Samsung has already removed the information which was previously presented on the support page, but still you can have a look at it in the screenshot below.

Talking about the device, it is expected to look pretty much similar to the Galaxy Note 8. Talking about the device, it sports a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display which comes with a resolution of 1080*2048 pixels. The displays over the high-end Samsung devices are usually gorgeous. The device also performs well in terms of optics, towards the rear the device fits in a dual rear camera setup which is a 12MP+12MP sensor, and also an 8MP front camera to capture some great selfies, and the leaks suggest that the camera might come with AI features.

Talking about some power, here there is a little bit of confusion though, the Samsung SM-N960U is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor and is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. But then again, according to the sources, there is comparatively a higher number of chances that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 might hit the market with the all-new Exynos 9810.

Talking about some figures, the Galaxy Note 9 has scored 8806 in multi-core benchmark and 2190 in a single-core benchmark. Out of the box, the device runs on the latest version of Android Oreo 8.1 and the entire device is backed by a 3,850 mAh battery. This device is expected to be launched in the month of June.

With less than a (April 25) left for the launch of Xiaomi’s , the device was spotted on Android website which contains a list of devices from various manufacturers. The leak is coming at a time when Xiaomi’s Redmi S2 has been making the rounds.

The Mi6x is the successor to last year’s Mi 5X and comes with significant upgrades. It comes with a bigger display, better processor and improved cameras.

Coming to the specifications, Mi 6x sports a 6 inch display and has an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 AIE processor and comes with some performance upgrades.

The Xiaomi Mi 6x will be equipped with a 20MP shooter both on the front and back. According to Android.com, the phone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of in built storage. Coming to the software side of things, the device will come with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and will come with a fingerprint scanner. The device will be powered by a 2910 mAh, which is probably the only downside considering the enormous screen size.

On the interesting side of things, the phone will be bundled with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm jack converter cable which is a clear indication of the phone ditching the headphone port on the Xiaomi Mi 6x. Contrarily, the Mi 5x had a headphone jack. What’s more Xiaomi is also planning to re- brand the device to Mi A2.

But the official listing doesn’t reveal any other detail about the phone, instead the listing could be a sign of the device coming in the near future.
Speaking of what we know about the phone until now, the Oppo A3 will come with a massive 6.2inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution. With 2018 being the unofficial year of notch, the Oppo A3 is expected to sport a iPhone like notch on the front.Under the hood, the device will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, the latest mid range processor from MediaTek. The phone will be available in two variants, a 4GB RAM that comes with 64GB of internal storage and a 6GB RAM variant which will come with 128GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera, the Oppo A3 doesn’t come with the the in trend dual camera seen on many smartphones these days, instead it comes with a 16MP shooter on the rear along with a 8MP camera on the front to meet your selfie needs. On the software side of things, the device is expected to run Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with Oppo’s own fork on top. But that isn’t the biggest selling point as the device is expected to come with face unlock instead of a fingerprint scanner seen according to the renders.
The device is expected to sell for RMB 1,999 and will be available in five colors which include- Blue, Knight Black, Stardust Silver, Pomegranate and Soybean Meal. With so much to offer, the phone is still under wraps.
