Samsung-Galaxy-J6

The South Korean giant Samsung has recently launched the Samsung Galaxy J6 in India. after which the company is planning to revamp the device with an upgraded version named as the Samsung Galaxy J6 Prime. The device was earlier spotted on Samsung’s Vietnamese site and now the device has landed on the Samsung’s Indian site as well hinting at the nearing Indian launch.

The device was previously seen passing the FCC certification as well. It has now appeared on the Samsung India’s Portal carrying the model number SM-J610F/DS, however, no specs have been mentioned in the listing. We think that the device will be similar to the J6 with some minor changes here and there.

It is being speculated that Samsung might ditch the Exynos and pack Qualcomm Snpdragon 450 with Adreno 506 GPU. Moreover, it will come with an AMOLED display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio branded as “Infinity Display”. Also, dual cameras at the back are something we look forward to.

Nokia X7/7.1 Plus Renders Appear Online. Shows Off a Familiar Design (Of course, with a Notch!)

HMD Global launched the first notched Nokia phone, the Nokia X6 and followed up with Nokia X5 in China which was rebranded as Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus in overseas respectively. Now the Finnish company is planning to launch the Nokia X7 in China which will be named as Nokia 7.1 Plus in international markets. The first render of the smartphone was today acquired by mysmartprice revealing the design aspects of the upcoming device.

Well, we’ve seen previous rumours that Nokia 7.1 Plus aka Nokia X7 is going to come with no notch, with it’s display panel being leaked without a notch, but with a normal 18:9 display. Now that rumour can be put to rest I guess.

The Nokia X7/7.1 Plus feature a similar design to that of the Nokia 6.1 Plus. It appears to have a glass body with a metal frame sandwiched in between. Though the previous leak suggests the handset will not have a notched display, the official renders show a notched display, a narrow one like the Nokia 6.1 Plus.  It hints that the device may feature a FHD+ (2280 x 1080 pixel) resolution with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

In the rear, there is dual camera setup stacked in a vertical arrangement with an LED flash module. It clearly states that the device will features Carl Zeiss optics and a small camera bump. There is a circular fingerprint sensor placed below the cameras and the company logo following it. Also a Android One branding can also be seen clearly. The volume and power button are placed on the right side.

The Nokia 7.1 Plus is rumoured to be powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset likely to be coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Rumours also point to a larger battery with support for fast 18W charging. It is expected to come with the latest Android 9 Pie and be priced around Rs 25,000 approx. Since HMD takes a gap between the launch of the Chinese and International variant. The Nokia 6.1 Plus was launched three months after the Nokia X6. Following this schedule, the Nokia 7.1 Plus may be launched sometime towards the end of this year.
