Earlier this week, Samsung revealed that it is working on a new A-series smartphone with 5G support. We have known that the upcoming device will be named Galaxy A90 5G, thanks to tipster Evan Blass. Now an official-looking poster and image of its retail box have surfaced online.
The leaked poster gives the first look at the upcoming Galaxy A90 5G. It seems to sport a dual-tone finish at the rear with an Infinity-U display on the front. The display is expected to be a 6.7 inch AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution.
The Galaxy A90 will not come with fancy hardware like a sliding-cum-rotating camera on the Galaxy A80, which was launch earlier in August. The poster shows a vertically aligned triple camera setup at the rear, whose specifications have been now been confirmed via the leaked image of the retail box.
Ever since the news of Samsung launching an A-series 5G smartphone came out, there have been multiple leaks and rumors. The retail box confirms that it will feature a 48MP primary camera that is possibly the company’s own ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor. It will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP depth sensor. The phone offers a 32MP selfie camera placed on the notch,
Under the hood, the Galaxy A90 5G will be powered by an unknown octa-core chipset which is likely to be the Snapdragon 855+ with X50 modem for 5G connectivity. There will be 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage. While the retail box confirms the handset will get Super-Fast Charging, it doesn’t reveal the battery size.
Samsung is yet to announce an official launch date for the launch of the Galaxy A90 5G, but from the leaks, it should be around the corner. We will have to wait for a few leaks or teasers to know more about the smartphone. Till then, keep tuned for more updates.
