Samsung finally launched the much awaited Galaxy A80 & A70 in Thailand (Galaxy A80 was originally supported to be named A90, by the way). The device is decently specified and features a rotating camera so one can take selfie pictures in the same quality as of rear camera. This makes the device notch-less and bezel-less display. They had also announced Galaxy A70 which is mid-range device from the brand. Meanwhile the Galaxy A80 is the first device from the brand to have a rotating cameras.

The Galaxy A80 spots a 6.5 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED New Infinity display. The device has an aspect ratio of 20:5 as it doesn’t have a notch. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 730G (G stands for better gaming performance). It is an octa-core chipset in which two high-performance cores are clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 power cores are clocked at 1.8GHz. The device comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage onboard which can be expanded up to 512GB via MicroSD card.
Talking about optics it houses a rotating triple camera setup. It has a 48MP (f/2.0) primary camera sensor which is coupled with 8MP (f/2.2) Ultra Wide Angle sensor with 123 Degree FoV and 3D depth camera sensor. The device is capable of features like Super Steady video mode, Scene Optimizer with detection for 30 scenes, and Flaw Detection. By default the camera stays at the rear, if we switch it to the front, the camera will rotate automatically to the front.
Coming to security measures it houses an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device is packed by 3700mAh battery which supports 25W Fast charging. It runs on Android Pie onboard which is based on OneUI. There are some other features like Bixby and Intelligent Performance Enhancer which is used to optimize the performance of the device. It also supports Dolby Atoms to improve the audio quality of the device.
The device will be available in Angel Gold, Ghost White, and Phantom Black color variants. Unfortunately, The company didn’t reveal the pricing information at the event but they said that this device will be available for consumer starting from May 29.

It spots a 6.7 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 which has a clock speed of 2 GHz, Dual core, Kryo 360 + 1.7 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 360. It is coupled with 6GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of internal storage which can be extended up to 512GB via external memory card.
Talking about optics, it has a triple rear camera setup. It has a 32MP primary sensor with an aperture value of f/1.7 coupled with a 8MP camera with an aperture value of f2.2 and a 5MP camera with an aperture value of f/2.2. To the front it soots a 32MP camera, with an aperture value of f/2.0.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 runs on Android 9 Pie on the top of OneUi. It is packed by a 4500mAh battery. It also supports fast charging. It is expected to launch in India soon enough.
