Samsung is revamping its Galaxy A Series. A couple of days ago the upcoming Galaxy A51 renders were leaked and today, the Galaxy A71 renders have been leaked as well. Cashkaro and OnLeaks have revealed the renders of the Samsung Galaxy A71. From the renders, if I had to conclude something, that is regarding the design. The Galaxy A71 has a design similar to that of the Galaxy A51.
As per Cashkaro, the Galaxy A71 will have a 6.7-inch flat punch-hole display where the camera will be placed at the top center position. The Galaxy A71 will come with a quad-camera setup, housed in a rectangular camera module. Three lenses are placed vertically and the fourth one is placed on the right side, along with the LED flash. On the right edge, there are the volume rockers and the power button while on the left side, there is a SIM card tray.
As per the reports, the phone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Though it’s a mid-range phone, there will be a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom along with the speaker grille. The Samsung Galaxy A71 won’t be a very thick phone with a 7.9 mm thickness, but due to the camera bump, the top of the phone has a maximum thickness of 9.2mm.
In terms of hardware, Android Authority reports that the Samsung Galaxy A71 might be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with Adreno 612 GPU, and 8GB of RAM. They also claim that it might pack a big 4500mAh battery. In terms of the camera as well, they predict that the phone will come with a camera setup similar to Galaxy A51 i.e. a 48-megapixel primary camera, with which there would be a 12MP wide-angle and telephoto sensors, and a 3D TOF sensor. The Galaxy A71 is also expected to launch by the beginning of 2020, running Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 on top.
