Samsung has finally unveiled its midrange smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus today. We had received a whole bunch of leaks about the device in the past and we already knew the key specifications of the device. Two days ago, the device passed through TENAA certification and we got to know the exact dimensions and key design aspects. Those hints were crucial to know the presence of Infinity Displays in the device which the company uses for their flagship devices.

Before the official announcement of the device, Samsung had listed the specifications and illustrations about these two new devices in their Indonesian website. All those leaks have turned out to be true as they comply with the actual specifications released by the company. The company still has no word about the processor used in these devices and the pricing, which will be revealed later on. We expect the A6 to be powered by Exynos 7870 and A6+ by Snapdragon 450 chipset.

As far as the specifications of the devices are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A6 has a 5.6 inch 18:9 2220×1080 pixel resolution display, an Exynos 7870 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, 16 MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and 16 MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture. A 3000 mAh battery will power the device.Samsung-galaxy-a6

The device features a dual rear camera setup (16 MP f/1.7 + 5 MP f/1.9). The fingerprint sensor mounted just below the cameras. There is a physical LED flash at the side of the camera. The front sports a 24 MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The device is powered by Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. There will be 4GB of RAM to maintain smooth performance. The device will equip 32 GB of onboard storage. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box on top of Samsung’s Experience UX. A 3500 mAh battery will power the device.
