Samsung Galaxy A10, A20 & A30 to Launch Soon in India!

Samsung is in the final round of preparations for the launch of its midrange devices – the A10, A20, and A30 in India. Newer leaks have surfaced online which confirms the previous allegations regarding the brand’s Indian launch of these smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy A10 was first leaked on Geekbench a week back. The Geekbench listing revealed the presence of Exynos 7885 chipset in the device. There is also a possibility that it is actually the Exynos 7904 as benchmarking apps are said to mistakenly identify it as the 7885 due to the similarities between them.

Furthermore, it revealed that the device would run Android 9 Pie out of the box, unlike the Galaxy M10 and M20 which run on an old Android 8.1 Oreo. There will likely to come with Samsung Experience 9.5 on top and a One UI update later on. The smartphone managed a score of 1121 and 3469 points on the single-core and multi-core test respectively.

There are reports that the Galaxy A10 would be the first ever Samsung device to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. There is no other information regarding the device yet but witnessing the in-display fingerprint sensor from Samsung would be interesting and we expect it to be faster than the current ones in the market.

Coming to the Galaxy A20, it also made its appearance to Geekbench. But to our surprise, the scores of the Galaxy A20 turned out to be lesser than the Galaxy A10. It will be paired with 3GB RAM and run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

It will likely come with the company’s new One UI. The smartphone managed a score of 1099 and 3456 points on the single core and multi-core tests which is apparently lesser than the Galaxy A10.

There have been no leaks so far regarding the Galaxy A30 until now but it might change in the upcoming days. So, keep an eye on this space for further updates regarding the exact details of these handsets.

OnePlus 7 CAD Renders Reveal an Unchanged Design from OnePlus 6T

OnePlus is getting closer to the first launch of the year as we approach the month of May. The Chinese manufacturer launched the OnePlus 6 last year on May 16. However, this time may be different and the company could launch two smartphones the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro. Last month the exclusive renders of the OnePlus 7 surfaced online but as it turns out it might actually be the “Pro” variant. Now, Pricebaba with collaboration with @OnLeaks has released exclusive 5K renders and a 360-degree video of the OnePlus 7 variant.

From the renders, the upcoming OnePlus 7 will share more similarities with the OnePlus 6T than the Pro variant that will likely to sport a pop-up selfie camera. There are some minor changes like the LED flash which now sits inside the oblong camera module, unlike the last year’s model where it was outside. The website informs that the smartphone measures 9.5mm in thickness with the bump included while measuring 157.7 x 74.8 x 8.1mm.

The OnePlus 7 will sport a waterdrop notch like its predecessor. The tipster reveals that the panel on the upcoming smartphone measures 6.2-inches on the diagonal which is smaller than the 6.41-inch panel on the OnePlus 6T. The ports and button placement remains the same meaning you will find the alert slider with the power button on right with the volume rocker and ejectable SIM tray on the left. The top edge is devoid of anything except for the secondary microphone. Since there is no visible fingerprint sensor we can expect an under display one.

The smartphone has been subjected to multiple leaks and renders. According to the previous leaks, the OnePlus 7 will sport a full HD+ display featuring an AMOLED / Super Optic panel with the latest generation in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will house a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with 6GB RAM on the base variant. Leaks have revealed that the top-end model this time will have 10GB of RAM, the same as the McLaren Edition OnePlus 6T.

It will run the latest OxygenOS based on Android 9 Pie. It is speculated that OnePlus 7 will draw power from a 4,150 mAh battery with support for the proprietary Warp Charging technology from the company. While there is no final launch date, a recent leak suggested that both the smartphones will be launched globally on May 14. So, we can expect an Indian launch a day after on May 15 and made available on Amazon India soon going by OnePlus’s track record. As for pricing, the base variant is rumored to be priced at Rs 39,990. With less than a month from the expected launch date, we guess we will find out soon.

Redmi Y3 to Launch in India on April 24th

It has been seven months since the launched of Redmi Y2. Xiaomi today announced that it will launch its successor Redmi Y3 next week on April 24. The Chinese manufacturer has been teasing the Y-series phone for a while now hinting it to be a budget camera phone capable of clicking high-resolution selfie pictures.

Redmi India sent out a tweet confirming that it would launch the Redmi Y-series on April 24. It also sent out media invites that states the Redmi Y-series’ launch event will start at 12:00 PM IST. The invite has the hashtag “#32MPSuperSelfie” indicating that the new Y-series USP will be a 32MP front sensor. It makes sense as its predecessors Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y2 were selfie centric phones. Further, the teaser reveals the device will sport a Redmi Note 7 style notch. We expect the Redmi Y3 to have AI features.

After it is launched, the Redmi Y3 will become the highest resolution selfie camera phone from Xiaomi. The current record is held by the Mi Mix 3 with a 24MP camera while the Mi 9 comes with a 20MP sensor. Also, the phone might be an entirely new phone unlike the Redmi Y2 and Redmi Y1 which are actually rebranded Redmi S2 and Redmi Note 5A respectively.

As for the specs, the Redmi Y3 will sport a Samsung’s 32-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GD1 image sensor. The sensor which was first announced in October last year and uses Quad-Bayer layer technology to capture good images. The handset will also likely to be backed by a large battery that will last longer. Though there is nothing mentioned in the teasers, rumors suggest that it could come with a massive 4,000 mAh battery.

Other specs of the Redmi Y3 are unknown as of now but we expect a leak before the official launch event. Some fans might be hoping for the Mi A3 as well but Xiaomi India clearly denied it in various Twitter conversations.

Samsung SM-A3050 and SM-A3058 Spotted in TENAA

Samsung has already launched a couple of smartphones in the M-series and A-series this year. Today, two new Samsung phones were certified by China’s regulatory agency TENAA. The smartphones have model numbers SM-A3050 and SM-A3058.

Looking at the model numbers of the two smartphones, they are likely variants of the Galaxy A30. However, their specs are far from similar to that of the already launched Galaxy A30. In fact, they bear more similar specs to the Galaxy M30 (SM-M305F).

The Samsung SM-A3050 and SM-A3085 features a 6.4 inch AMOLED display like the M30 but with a lower resolution of HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels). According to the listing, it will come with a 1.8GHz or 1.6GHz octa-core chipset which will be paired with 4GB,6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage.

The devices also have the same optical configuration as the M30. There is a triple camera setup at the rear with a 13MP + 5MP + 5MP configuration while offering a 16MP selfie camera. The Samsung SM-A3050 runs on Android 9 Pie and has a fingerprint scanner and a massive 4,900 mAh battery with support for fast charging. It will be available in black, gold and blue color options. It measures 75.1 x 169 x 8.4 mm and weighs 174 grams.

The certification had no attached image but that seems to be the least worry. For a phone that has 8GB of RAM, an HD+ display doesn’t match up. This might be just a mix up which we hope TENAA will fix soon. As for the launch, Samsung has not announced any official launch dates as of now.
