Samsung’s first Android Go phone, Galaxy J2 Core spotted in Geekbench
Android Go has been a controversial topic for many, as the Google’s program to bring good phones on budget haven’t been doing so good in doing just that with many phones such as Nokia 1. Now, Samsung has joined the bandwagon with their own upcoming Android Oreo Go edition phone, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core.
Nothing is official from Samsung’s side, but the phone has been spotted in Geekbench earlier today. Take a look at the Geekbench listing:
As you can see, the phone is powered by a 1.43Ghz quad core SoC. Which is reported to be Samsung’s own Exynos 7570 SoC. The phone scores a single core score of 625 & a multi core score of 1747.
Now, this is a budget centric phone and will be placed below current J2 2017 device in the market.
Also, it is to be seen that how the UI of the phone will be, especially since Samsung’s phone comes with their own custom skin, Experience UI. As other Android Go devices chose to remain stock, it needs to be seen if Samsung would also be doing that or slap their skin on top of stock Android go and make it even heavier.
Nothing much is know about the device as of now, we’ll be seeing more of the phone soon in leaks and rumours, stay tuned with us!
