Xiaomi launched the Redmi S2 recently in China, and now according to an Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal, Xiaomi is bringing the same phone to India as the Redmi Y2. Starting from June 7, the Redmi Y2 will go on sale on Amazon India. But, even before the official launch and sales, the pricing of the Redmi Y2 has been revealed. As per Ishan Agarwal, the Redmi Y2 base variant will carry a price tag of Rs. 9,999 in India.
It is not confirmed but the price is supposedly
Rs. 9,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM &
Rs. 11,999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB Variant.
Let's see if it is correct or not!#Xiaomi#XiaomiIndia#Mi#MiIndia#Redmi#RedmiY2#XiaomiRedmiY2

Also, there will be two storage variants of the Redmi Y2- one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, and the higher variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. So, the 3GB RAM variant of the Redmi Y2 will cost Rs. 9,999 and the higher variant will cost a bit more, priced at Rs. 11,999.
However, apart from RAM and internal storage, there will be no other differences as the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The Redmi Y2 will sport a tall 5.99-inch 720p HD+ LCD panel with an aspect ratio of 18:9, and will pack a 3080mah battery inside.
One of the main downsides of the device will be the 720p HD+ display. However, it is beneficial to the battery life as a 720p panel will consume much lesser battery compared to a fullHD+ display. The device will come with dual SIM card and memory card support via the hybrid slot. In terms of camera, the phone will sport a dual camera setup on the back and a 16MP selfie camera on the front with LED flash.
There will be a fingerprint scanner on the back, though the device will support Face Unlock just like many other Android phones out there. The phone will be available in three colors- Dark Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold and sales with start on June 7.
Mi 9T Gets Certified in Thailand, Possibly a Pro Version of Mi 9!
Xiaomi sub-brand Mi has launched the flagship Mi 9 and variants such as Mi 9 Transparent Edition and Mi 9 SE earlier in 2019. These smartphones are yet to be launched in the major global markets but the Chinese manufacturer is already preparing for its next smartphone in the series: the alleged Mi 9T.
An unnamed Mi series smartphone with model number M190310G received certification from the NBTC regulatory database in Thailand. This is not the first time the smartphone has been spotted as it has already been certified by numerous regulatory agencies in the past like NCC, EEC, IMDA and FCC. The smartphone is speculated to be none other than the Xiaomi Mi 9T.
From the NTBC certification, there is much information about the device apart from its model number. However, the certification hints that it could be launch sometime soon. The company is yet to officially confirm the phone or release any teaser, which we expect to happen soon.
