Redmi Go also reportedly Launching Alongside Redmi Note 7 on February 28th

Xiaomi released a teaser couple of days ago teasing the launch of the Redmi Note 7 on February 28. Now, a new report claims the company will bring multiple devices to the Indian market including the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Go and Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Youth Edition. The Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Go is already launched in China and Philippines respectively.

According to recent reports, the Indian version of the Redmi Note 7 will be different from the one that went official in China. It might not even feature the 48MP rear camera that is one of its primary features. Previous reports suggested Redmi Note 7’s two variants will make its way to India. The base variant of the handset will have a 3 GB of RAM + 32 GB  internal storage and the higher variant will have 4 GB RAM + 64 GB of internal storage.

It will be available in Red, Blue and Black colors; whereas the Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected in a 4GB + 64GB variant only initially, with Gradient Red, Gradient Blue and Black colors. Recently leaked renders by Ishan Agarwal showed Indian Note 7 variant with the wordings “AI Camera” and “1.25μm f/2.2 PDAF” printed near the camera, while the render for the Indian Note 7 Pro variant shows the wordings “48MP” and “AI Dual Camera” mentioned on it. However, the reports are not reliable and we would advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.

The Indian prices of the smartphone along with the Redmi Go and Mi Sports Edition have surfaced online. A Telegram tipster revealed that the Redmi Go, the company’s first Android Go smartphone will cost Rs 3,499 for the first three months. After the stipulated time frame, the price of the handset is expected to be increased. The Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Youth Edition will be available at a price tag of Rs 1,499. However, these alleged prices of the devices are yet to be officially confirmed by the company.

The Redmi Go is the company’s first Android Go smartphone optimized for low-end hardware. It features a 5 inch 720p HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio and uses capacitive buttons at the bottom It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

In the optics department, the device sports an 8MP single rear camera with a LED flash while offering a 5MP camera at the front. It runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition) and comes pre-loaded with a couple of Lite apps like Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Gmail Go and more. The handset is includes a 3,000 mAh battery. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and a microUSB port. It will be available in Red, Blue and Black color options and will go against the likes of Nokia 2.1Micromax Bharat Go.

Redmi K20 Hands On Leaked, Official Images & Posts Reveal In Display FP, AMOLED display & More!

Ahead of the launch of Redmi‘s flagships, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, photos of the smartphone have surfaced online getting the fans more excited and stuff to talk about.

The photos reveal a button on the left side dedicated to Xiaomi’s virtual assistant.

Redmi has already confirmed that the K20 will feature a 48MP primary camera, 4000 mAh battery, 960 fps slow-mo video recording and now it revealed that it will feature a seventh-gen optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Redmi K20

The company said the fingering sensor is equipped with a 3P lens and has 7.2µm ultra-large pixels. It has a 100% higher photo-sensitive area, 15% more scanning area and is 30% more accurate than previous generation scanners.

Redmi K20

The UD fingerprint scanner on the notch-less Redmi K20 features DSP acceleration technology that increases its unlock speed by 10% compared to the previous generation while increasing the success rate by 30% under direct light and low temperature.

Redmi to Launch two Variants of it’s Flagship, Redmi K20 & K20 Pro!

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is expected to make an official announcement tomorrow regarding its upcoming flagship. The announcement won’t be an actual event, but we will get the official name and the launch date. The Redmi smartphone has previously been subjected to multiple leaks and rumours.

Ahead of the announcement, a tipster has revealed new information about the Redmi flagship smartphone. There was a leak earlier this month which suggested the device will be named as Redmi K20 Pro and now tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed that the upcoming phones from the Chinese manufacturer will indeed be named as Redmi K20 and a higher variant Redmi K20 Pro.

The tipster further claims that both the devices will come in a Carbon Fibre Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red color options. The Redmi K20 will come in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB storage configurations. As for the Pro variant, it will have the same storage options with an additional 8GB + 128GB variant.

Over the past weeks, we know a lot about the Redmi flagship smartphone from the leaks as well from the official hints and teasers.  The smartphones codenamed “davinci” and “raphael” will be powered by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The company also launched a new video which hints that the company’s next flagship smartphone will come with a pop-up camera. The pop-up camera seems to be placed a little towards the left side of the upper edge and not the center.

In terms of pricing, the smartphone will be priced higher than the higher variant of the Redmi Note 7 Pro as the company would not want to affect its sales. It will likely be priced in the range of Poco F1. We don’t have to wait much as the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro is expected to be launched by the end of this month of the start of June.

Infinix teases their upcoming Smartphone with 32MP Selfie camera!

Smartphone manufacturer Infinix seems to be working on a new selfie-centric phone. The Transsion Holdings owned brand is known for its budget smartphones and recently launched the  Infinix Smart 3 Plus smartphone with triple camera setup under the sub 7k price tag. The upcoming smartphone from the company was teased on e-commerce website Flipkart suggesting its imminent launch.

The Flipkart teaser of the smartphone does not reveal its name. According to some reports, it could be the Infinix S4, which was recently launched in some African nations. The teaser hints that the device will be a selfie-centric with some key design elements.

On the front, the handset packs a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling. The fact that that the Infinix S4 also carries a 32MP selfie camera makes us believe they are the same. The display will have a waterdrop notch where the selfie camera will be placed. The teaser also hints a big display panel but no specifications are mentioned.

Even if it is not the Infinix S4, the specifications will likely to be the same with minor differences. The smartphone boasts a 6.2-inch HD+ panel and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. It comes with 3GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.

In the optics department, it consists of a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP sensor for depth mapping and an 8MP sensor. On the front, it offers a 32MP selfie camera. It runs on XOS Cheeta UI based on Android 9 Pie.

Infinix has a reputation for introducing some good budget phones in the Indian market. By giving premium features at an affordable rate it aims to connect with more customers in the budget and mid-range segment.
