Upcoming Vivo V17 Leaked in Hands On Video, Shows off it’s New & Unique Design!

Published

on

Vivo V17 isn’t a completely new or upcoming phone. Recently, Vivo had launched the phone in Russia and that phone is a rebranded Vivo S1 Pro. However, some recent reports indicated that the Vivo V17 will be slightly different from its Russian brother. Today a hands-on video of the phone has leaked which clears up a few things.

In the video, which was uploaded by 91Mobiles, we can see the back of the phone pretty clearly. It looks like the Vivo V17 will have a quad-camera setup on the back, shaped like an L, where three camera sensors are placed vertically along with another camera sensor on the right side in a rectangular camera module. There is no camera bump but we can see a frame going around.

Vivo has recently sent invites for an event on December 9 and it is being expected that in that event, the company will launch the all-new Vivo V17. The invite shows a phone with a punch-hole display and that strengthens the previous claims of the Indian variant of Vivo V17 with a punch-hole display instead of a waterdrop notch that is present on its Russian counterpart. The retail poster for the phone also revealed a few things about the phone.

Apart from the camera and punch-hole display, the Indian variant of Vivo V17 is quite similar to the Russian one, as per media reports. The Vivo V17 is said to feature a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display and it should be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The phone may pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging as well. In terms of camera, the Vivo V17 will be quite interesting as the phone may come with a 48-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel camera (probably ultra-wide) and two more 2-megapixel cameras among which one may be a just a depth sensor while the other one might be a macro lens.

However, these are the details acquired from various sources and there is no official word from Vivo regarding the specs or features of the Vivo V17. But, we are pretty sure that the pricing will be quite interesting as this is a mid-range phone and with the Vivo V17, the company is aiming at a market crowded with quite a large number of smartphones from brands like Xiaomi and Realme. Make sure to check us out so that you don’t miss any updates or news regarding the Vivo V17 as the launch date is just a week away!

Vivo V17 Live Images Leaked! Shows Off unique Diamond Shape camera bump & Punch Hole display.

Published

Vivo is gearing up for a new launch in its camera-centric V-series. Dubbed as the Vivo V17, it will be a slightly watered-down version of the Vivo V17 Pro. Live images of the smartphone have surfaced online giving us a good look at the upcoming smartphone. Moreover, some key specifications of the Vivo V17 have also been leaked prior to its launch later this month.

The alleged Vivo V17 live images released by Russia-based Hi.Tech.Mail shows the smartphone flaunting a gradient finish on its glossy white rear panel with blue and pink accents. The rear houses a quad-camera setup in a diamond-shaped module with an LED flash below it. On the sensors is a 48MP camera while the remaining three camera sensor is not known. It shares many of the design elements with the Vivo S5 that will go official in China on November 14.

The front sports a waterdrop notch with a slightly thick chin at the bottom. The lack of a physical fingerprint sensor suggests the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo V17 is said to come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is reported to come with a 4,500 mAh battery with no word on fast charging.

There is no information about the processor powering the upcoming Vivo smartphone. The phone has a prominent ‘Camera & Music’ branding at the back making it clear that Vivo is targeting photography and music enthusiasts. A device with similar specifications was recently certified by TENAA. It was listed with a 6.38 inch AMOLED display. This could be the upcoming Vivo V17 for all we know.

According to another report, Vivo will launch the smartphone in India and Russia later this month. It is expected to be priced around Rs 25,000. As per the report, Vivo will discontinue the Vivo V17 Pro in India and will only see the Vivo V17 variant in the country. As of now, the company has not provided any official launch date.

Moto Razr is making a Comeback, Official Looking Renders Leaked!

Published

on

For quite some time, we have been hearing that Motorola is working on a Moto Razr smartphone. But the company didn’t really bring it back, despite huge speculations. But looks like the project is still on and finally, we will get to see the Moto Razr getting launched pretty soon. Motorola has already sent out invites for an event in Los Angeles on November 13 and as per some sources, in that event, Moto Razr will be launched.

Tipster Even Blass tweeted out tonight about the Moto Razr and already we can see the hype growing up. Slashleaks also provided a few renders of the phone, however, it looks quite horrible to see at this moment, thanks to the poor pixelated images. The photo Evan Blass tweeted is comparatively better, and here it is.

The all-new Moto Razr will feature a foldable screen packed within a flip phone shell. That means there will be no physical keypad, but the good news is that there is a secondary display so that you can check notifications on the secondary display placed on the outside of the upper shell. The new Moto Razr will continue to have the look of the classic flip phone that Motorola brought to us 15 years back in 2004.

In terms of specifications, Slashleaks suggests that the new Moto Razr will feature a 6.2-inch main display along with a secondary display. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 chipset along with Andreno 616 GPU, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and there will also be a variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. These specs seem quite a bit overwhelming but the phone is said to pack a small 2,730mAh battery. However, these specs are not confirmed yet.

GSMArena says that the display will have a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels while Slashleaks says that the display has a resolution of 600×800 pixels. GSMArena listing also mentions a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera, but this part seems quite impractical as, on a flip phone, a single camera can be used as both primary shooter and as selfie shooter, with the help of secondary display. More details are awaited for now, and we are keeping an eye on all the updates regarding the all-new Moto Razr. Stay tuned for more updates.
