Oppo’s sub-brand Realme initially took of as an online-only label for the Indian market but eventually it emerged as an independent brand under BBK Electronics. After Indian expansion, the company further took initiative to launch smartphones in Indonesia as well. Now, Realme has also entered Malaysia with the launch of its popular Realme 2 Pro, Realme 2, and Realme C1 smartphones in the country.
Coming to the pricing, the cheapest of all i.e. the Realme C1 is priced at RM449, which roughly converts to Rs 7,800, almost same as the Indian pricing. On the other hand, the Realme 2 is tipped at RM599 (roughly Rs. 10,400) for the base model with 3GB of RAM model while the higher-end 4/64GB RAM model will cost you RM699 i.e. around Rs. 12,100.
The most expensive Realme 2 Pro with water-drop notch and Snapdragon 660 is priced at RM899 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while the 6/64GB and top-end 8/128GB variant will be sold for RM899 (roughly Rs. 15,600) and RM949 (roughly Rs. 16,500), respectively.
Talking of the availability, all the three smartphones will go on sale via the company’s official online store as well as through Lazada Malaysia and Shopee Malaysia including some bundled offers. Particularly, the Realme 2 Pro will be available from November 11 (the day observed as Malaysia’s Shopping Festival) while the Realme C1 and Realme 2 will arrive into the market by November 22 and November 24, respectively.
