Realme is expanding its budget smartphone lineup, i.e. the Realme C Series. Today, the company launched the all-new Realme C3 in India after teasing the phone for a while. The Realme C3, despite being a budget phone has pretty impressive specs. A major highlight of the phone is that the phone will run Realme UI out of the box instead of Color OS so that users don’t need to wait for getting the Realme UI.
The Realme C3 sports a 6.5-inch 720p display with waterdrop notch along with Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G70 chipset coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. However, there is a triple slot using which users can expand the storage up to 256GB. The MediaTek Helio G70 is an octa-core SoC that packs a batch of two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2GHz and another batch of six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The Helio G70 is a major upgrade from Helio P22 that was powering Realme C2 and other budget phones are using and surely it will improve the gaming experience on the Realme C3.
In terms of camera, the Realme C3 will come with a dual-camera setup on the back consisting of a 12-megapixel primary camera along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a -megapixel camera for video calls and selfies. The camera on Realme C3 will offer features like Chroma Boost, slow motion video recording, HDR, and panorama selfie.
As mentioned, the Realme C3 will run Realme UI out of the box, based on Android. The phone packs a massive 5000mAh battery. In terms of variants, there are two variants in terms of RAM and ROM- 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The base variant is priced at Rs. 6,999 while the 4GB variant is priced at Rs. 7,999.
