Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme seems to be in a roll by launching budget devices in the Indian smartphone market. It was just yesterday when we saw the live image leak of the Realme 3 and today, we have another update regarding the Realme 3.

The brand has been teasing the Realme 3 in its Twitter for quite a while now. Today, they have officially teased the launch of the upcoming Realme 3 in its official Twitter handle. Take a look at the tweet below.

If everything goes according to the plan, the Realme 3 will be unveiled on the 4th of March at 12:30 PM. It has also confirmed that the launch event would be broadcasted live on their social media handles. The location of the event is not mentioned in the tweet.

There will be two variants for the Realme 3. The one with Helio P70 chipset would be available exclusively in India while the global variant, the regular Realme 3, will feature Helio P60. The Realme 3 branding will be horizontal on one device while it will be vertical on the other.

The rumor has it that the brand has adopted the vertical camera alignment on this device which led them to the idea of placing the logo in the vertical fashion. Also, a fingerprint scanner on the rear is not visible which raises the possibility of an in-display fingerprint sensor on the device which is quite possible like the recently launched Oppo K1. Moreover, the brand shared an image of the Realme 3 with the fingerprint scanner.

Realme uses the quote “Power your style” to represent the launch event. The background image suggests a Starry Black color variant which also complies with the leaked live images.  Now that the launch event is announced, more leaks are expected to be coming from various sources in the upcoming days. So keep watching this space for further updates.
