The Snapdragon 712 is only a slight upgrade in processing power as compared to the Snapdragon 710 in it’s predecessor, the Realme 3 Pro. Apart from the processor, it will be coming with a host of changes as compared to the Realme 3 Pro.
One of the areas where we can see huge improvements in the camera department, which now employs a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor as the primary camera as opposed to the 16MP camera on the Realme 3 Pro. The rear camera comprises of a Quad lens setup. So apart from the 48MP primary shooter, there will be an ultrawide angle camera and a macro lens, while the type of the fourth lens is unknown.
The leak also reveals that the Realme 5 Pro will have a water-drop notch, which has become a popular adaptation of the notch design lately. The display will be AMOLED instead of IPS display, because of which the colour reproduction in the Realme 5 Pro will be improved considerably. Apart from that, it will be having an in-display fingerprint scanner instead of the conventional fingerprint scanner.
If these leaks are true, then the upcoming Realme 5 Pro will pose serious competition to its competitors. It must be noted that the successor to the existing lineup, ie, the Realme 3 series is coming after a mere 4 months since it was launched in April. Rest of the specifications such as battery and RAM of the Realme 5 Pro is not known yet, however, it is expected that more information will be revealed as we near the launch date. The Realme 5 will also be launched along with the side the Realme 5 Pro on August 20.
