Realme 3 Pro may Launch alongside Realme 3

Published

on

Realme today released a teaser of its upcoming Realme 3 smartphone, hinting at the launch of the Realme 3 Pro variant alongside. The company is all set for the launch event in India on March 4 where it will launch the Realme 3 phone. However, the new teaser reveals that the company is also planning to launch the Pro variant.

The teaser comes as Xiaomi is gearing for the Redmi Note 7 and the rumoured Redmi Note 7 Pro launch tomorrow. The new teaser heavily indicates that there will be Pro variant of the Realme 3 smartphone. The teaser comes in the form of a video which sows the letter 3 in the form of a lightning bolt with the words ‘Be Proactive’ written on top. The letters ‘Pro’ in the word ‘Proactive’ hints at the existence of the Realme 3 Pro. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth re-tweeted the teaser and a dig at Xiaomi by saying “What’s 7 doing in 3?”

The Realme 3 is also rumoured to sport a 48MP sensor at the back like the Redmi Note 7. The handset is expected to feature a tall display with a waterdrop notch, dual rear camera setup, a rear fingerprint scanner and a diamond cut case. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 and run on ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie.

A couple of live images of the Realme 3 leaked earlier this week revealing a black and blue gradient finish. There is a possibility of the device coming with a diamond cut back design with starry gradient finish. But, the images only showed a starry back with no sign of a diamond cut design. There was also no visible rear fingerprint sensor which means the Realme 3 may feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The mid-range OPPO K1 featured one, so a mid-range device with a under display sensor is not a farfetched idea.
