The details of the next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processors have leaked now. Here’s the table containing the details of Snapdragon 845, 670, 640 & 460.

Snapdragon 845, as we all know is the successor to this year’s flagship processor from them, the 835. We also know that this will be at the heart of most of the flagships of 2018. Talking about the technical aspects, it is featuring a cluster of custom 4x Kryo 385 Gold cores clocked at 2.8Ghz and 4x Kryo 385 Silver cores clocked at 1.8Ghz. And the GPU has been upgraded to Adreno 630. It sure looks beefy and we all know this is going to be one of the fastest mobile processors out there.

Snapdragon 670, is the upgrade to this year’s Snapdragon 660. It features a cluster of 4x Kryo 360 Gold clocked at 2.00Ghz and 4x Kryo 385 Silver clocked at 1.6Ghz. And features¬† Adreno 620 GPU. It’ll come in some of the upper mid tier smartphones coming out in 2018. Do note that not much phones utilized the previous Snapdragon 660 chipset this year.

Snapdragon 640, sits above the Snapdragon 630, which is a mid tier chipset. It features a cluster of 2x Kryo 360 Gold clocked at 2.15Ghz & 6x Kryo 360 Silver. The GPU in this is Adreno 610.

Snapdragon 460 is the budget offering from Qualcomm for the year. It’s having a cluster of 4x Kryo 360 Silver clocked at 1.80Ghz & 4x Kryo 360 Silver clocked at 1.40Ghz. It comes with an Adreno 605 GPU. SD 4xx series are normally found on low budget phones, we can expect this to come with many next generation low budget phones soon.

Main thing to take away from this is that Qualcomm is moving away from ARM’s Cortex cores and is completely embracing their own custom developed Kryo cores (which are based on Cortex cores itself, but with many changes made from Qualcomm).

The release date for these processors are not available (with the exception of SD 845, which was already launched). We can expect to hear more about this From Snapdragon soon.
