The multi-core tests on the Snapdragon 670 returned a score of 5,256 points, against the 5,977 points scored by the Snapdragon 835 in Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Considering that the SD 670 is a mid range processor, it is very much more than value for money, at this benchmark scores.
Apart from the single and multi core benchmark scores, no other information about the processor was available in Geekbench. However, some rumors suggest that the Upcoming SD 670 will have support for upto 6GB RAM, 64GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage and WQHD display.
The Snapdragon 670 is expected to be an octa-core processor with two high performance Kyro Gold cores and six low power Kyro Silver cores. Even though these are unconfirmed reports, its sure that 2018 will be a good year for mid range smartphones, since they can give flagship devices a run for their money, armed with the Snapdragon 670 processor.
Its expected that the SD 670 will be a strong contender against other flagship chipsets, considering the benchmark scores and other rumors about its features.
