Qualcomm Signs $2 Billion worth MoUs with Lenovo, Xiaomi, Oppo And Vivo

Qualcomm has signed non-binding memorandums of understanding(MoUs) which is worth $2 billion which states that Qualcomm is going to sell their RF Front End solutions to four leading tech giants, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Oppo, and Vivo.

RF front end is the reason why you are getting the best mobile network connection, it is basically used to describe the different components which are used in a receiver to process all the incoming RF signals.

Cristiano Amon, president of Qualcomm had this to say,

“the company has long supported the Chinese mobile ecosystem and today’s MoU signings with Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi further demonstrates our commitment to that ecosystem, as well as our strategy to continue to grow our RF front-end business”

Qualcomm is putting in their best efforts to get RF front-end solutions to build more power-efficient devices in relation to the RF signals in terms of mobile data and WiFi.

Qualcomm strongly says that the RF Front-end platform solutions will definitely help the OEM’s to build better devices for the rapidly growing needs of the global consumers. This announcement has been officially made on Wednesday at the Qualcomm China Technology Day which was held in Beijing.

Qualcomm has also announced the 5G Pioneer Initiative, where they also said that you will get to experience all the new mobile applications which are enabled by 5G, and also the upcoming 5G products are going to be thinner with cutting-edge power efficiency and also comes with higher performance.
