Panasonic recently launched the Eluga Z1 and the Eluga Z1 Pro and today the company has company has launched a new smartphone in the P series. Dubbed as the Panasonic P85 NXT, it is the successor to the P85 launched last year.
The Panasonic P85 NXT features a 5 inch display with a resolution of HD (1280 x 720 pixels) and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with Adreno 304GPU. It is coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded by a microSD card up to 128GB.
In the optics department, it sports a 8MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front with dedicated LED flash. It runs on an old Android 7.1.2 Nougat and comes with ARBO Hub app with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning capabilities. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery.
Panasonic P85 NXT comes at a price tag of Rs 6,999 and is available in three color options: Black, Gold and Blue. It is launched in partnership with UDAAN, a B2B trade platform and will be available through offline stores. At this price, it will be competing with entry level smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Realme C1 and Asus Zenfone Lite L1.
