Oppo will be launching the Oppo Reno on the 10th of April. Now, the existence of the Lite version of the Oppo Reno has come to the light. The Oppo Reno Lite passed through certification authority TENAA which revealed the key details regarding the device.
The device bears the model number PACT00 / PACM00. According to TENAA certification, the processor used in the device will be a Snapdragon 710 which is a 2.2 GHz octa-core chipset. Moreover, it is rumored to be a Snapdragon 710 of the Oppo Reno. Adreno 616 is the GPU used on the handset.
The display will be 6.4-inch AMOLED without the notch. The rear will be made of glass and the handset measures 156.6 x 74.3 x 9mm and weighs 185 grams. Its display is rumored to be of Full HD+ resolution with 1080 x 2340 pixels.
A physical fingerprint scanner cannot be seen on the smartphone which hints at the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner. There will be 6 and 8 GB RAM variants coupled with 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage respectively. There will be a 3,680 mAh battery on the handset with fast charging support. The handset will run on Android Pie out of the box with Color OS 6.0.
In terms of optics, it is expected to sport a dual 48 MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor coupled with a 5 MP sensor. On the front, there will be a 16 MP camera. The cameras are vertically stacked on the center of the device with the LED flash mounted after the dual camera setup. The rear side also has the “Designed by Oppo” branding and Oppo’s logo.
Additionally, the device also got benchmarked on popular smartphone benchmarking website AnTuTu. It scores a decent 166,935 on AnTuTu which falls average compared to other smartphones featuring Snapdragon 710. The model which got benchmarked has 6 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.
