Oppo unveiled the Find X in June this year and in August 10, the Chinese phone manufacturer held the first official sales for the Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition which sold out in just 4 seconds. Due to the high demand the prices went up with some stores listing the device as high as 2000$, compared to the launch price of 9999 Yuan (1459$).

The Lamborghini edition comes with the SuperVOOC charging compared to the regular variant’s VOOC charging technology. The former’s maximum charging power is close to 50W, which can fully charge the built-in dual core 3,400 mAh battery in just 35 minutes.

If you aren’t the Lamborghini type but want SuperVOOC, you have other options too. The company announced that Oppo Find X Super Flash version will go on sale from August 17 at a price tag of 5999 Yuan (876$) which is significantly lower than the Lamborghini edition. It comes with a configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and will be available in Bordeaux red and blue colour options.

Oppo Find X is a eye-catcher with its unique design and 6.42 inch curved panoramic display with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8%, the highest in any smartphone till date. Oppo Find X also sports a 3D structured light technology to construct a 3D depth image of a face by projecting 15,000 sports on the face and comparing it to the database, which is basically a FaceID clone. This not only helps in unlocking the device, but also in other financial transactions. The next sale of the Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition is scheduled at August 18 from 10.00 which comes with a 8GB RAM + 512GB internal storage configuration. Other features are same as in the Oppo Find X regular variant.

All Samsung Galaxy S10 variants to Support Reverse Wireless Charging!

Published

on

Earlier this week, a report surfaced online disclosing the price of the Samsung Galaxy S10 trio in the UK. The source also revealed the possibility of Samsung implementing a reverse wireless charger like the one on Huawei Mate 20 Pro and now an independent source confirms it to be true.

The new leak claims that the reverse wireless charging will feature on all the three variants of Galaxy S10, including the Lite version. The technology will be called “Powershare” but we are not so sure about its usability. The standard wireless charging is pretty slow and charging another smartphone with your smartphone will be even less effective. However, its still early to comment on it and the South Korean may have a better solution than Huawei’s Mate Pro reverse charging or it could be just another marketing gimmick.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will be available in three variants: a regular version, a Plus version and a flat variant. It is expected to come with a Infinity-O display with a cut-out notch containing the selfie camera. The device is also touted to come with a new in-screen fingerprint scanner that uses ultrasound to read the ridges in the finger in 3D but the iris scanner is likely to be shelved.

The Lite variant of the smartphone featuring a 5.8 inch display will have 128GB storage and priced at £669. The regular curved variant of the S10 with 6.1 inch display will be offered in 128GB and 512GB RAM and will cost £799 and £999 respectively. The third model is offered in a 128GB, 512GB and 1TB storage variant costing £899, £1099 and £1399 respectively. The 1TB storage variant may be the rumoured 5G supported 6.7 inch model with six cameras considering the high price tag. From previous reports, the device will be available in 4GB, 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM and sport triple camera setup at the rear.

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S10 series ahead of the Mobile World Congress on February 20. It will be available for pre-order from that day and will go on sale from March 8.
