Less than a week back, the Oppo A3 was spotted on a Chinese Telecom site with specs, renders, user manual, price and was recently seen on TENAA and Geekbench. Now, the latest Oppo phone has surfaced on the Compulsary Certification of China (3C) website with the model number PADM00.
But the official listing doesn’t reveal any other detail about the phone, instead the listing could be a sign of the device coming in the near future.
Speaking of what we know about the phone until now, the Oppo A3 will come with a massive 6.2inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution. With 2018 being the unofficial year of notch, the Oppo A3 is expected to sport a iPhone like notch on the front.Under the hood, the device will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, the latest mid range processor from MediaTek. The phone will be available in two variants, a 4GB RAM that comes with 64GB of internal storage and a 6GB RAM variant which will come with 128GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera, the Oppo A3 doesn’t come with the the in trend dual camera seen on many smartphones these days, instead it comes with a 16MP shooter on the rear along with a 8MP camera on the front to meet your selfie needs. On the software side of things, the device is expected to run Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with Oppo’s own fork on top. But that isn’t the biggest selling point as the device is expected to come with face unlock instead of a fingerprint scanner seen according to the renders.
The device is expected to sell for RMB 1,999 and will be available in five colors which include- Blue, Knight Black, Stardust Silver, Pomegranate and Soybean Meal. With so much to offer, the phone is still under wraps.
