OnePlus is undergoing the final phase of preparations for the release if its upcoming flagship OnePlus 6. The hype is so high on this device and leaks are making its way to the internet out of nowhere. It looks like the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to release a customized edition of the OnePlus 6 featuring Marvel’s Avengers. The company has a history of doing so with its previous flagship by launching the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition.
Today, OnePlus accidentally posted a teaser video hinting the OnePlus 6 Avengers Edition. The video was posted on OnePlus India’s Facebook page and it was deleted later. It appears like they pre-posted the video scheduled for later this month due to some technical glitch. The leak on OnePlus India page confirms that the special edition will certainly make its way to India.
In case you don’t know, Marvel’s Avengers is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Few early people were able to download the video before it was removed from the page. Take a look at the teaser below:
The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres worldwide on April 27. As the company has not mentioned an official date of launch, it may launch the device on the same date. Also, we should not expect OnePlus to launch the special edition before the normal edition launches. We’ll have to wait for the company’s promo to know their decision about the launch date.
