Pete Lau recently said the OnePlus 7 Pro’s screen cost the company three times as much as usual and will “redefine fast and smooth.”
Under the hood, it will be powered by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. From the GeekBench scores, it appears to be more powerful than the Samsung S10+ flagship. The OnePlus 7 Pro managed to score 3,526 and 11,101 points compared to S10’s 3,429 and 10,624 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
There will be a triple camera setup in the rear, the first on a OnePlus device. It includes a 48MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture, a secondary 8MP telephoto lens with 3x lossless zoom and f/2.2 aperture and an 16MP lens with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it offers a 16MP pop-up camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The handset draws power from a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 30W Warp Charge fast charging. It will also include dual speakers and USB 3.1. There will also be a 5G variant and will come in Blue, Green and Brown color options. The OnePlus 7/7 Pro launch event is scheduled to take place on May 14 where all the specification, prices and availability will be revealed.
