oneplus 6 leak

Last year in the month of June, OnePlus has launched its Flagship device the OnePlus 5. Now, as that time of the year is nearing by, we can see that the company has already started teasing it’s all-new flagship device, the OnePlus 6. Now, this small little teaser has been released over the Italian OnePlus Facebook page, and the interesting thing is that this reveals that the supports the full-screen gestures.

Though OnePlus has already released these gesture features with the OnePlus 5T, but however according to the teaser OnePlus has a tagline to this, and it is “speed up with gestures”. So that being said, we are definitely expecting the device to come with pre-loaded support for all the full-screen gestures.

Speed up with gestures

Velocizza la tua esperienza con le gestures. #OnePlus6

Posted by OnePlus on Wednesday, April 4, 2018

Though we don’t have many details regarding this feature, we are definitely expecting this to be a lot better than compared to the one on the OnePlus 5T.

Now talking about another interesting feature of this device, the notch! Now if you are wondering what is so interesting about the notch, then the interesting part is that you can now hide this display notch! 2018 was all about the notches, Apple has started off the trend and all the manufactures are following the same.

Now the good thing is that, though the all-new OnePlus 6 comes with the top display notch as confirmed by Carl Pei, we can now easily hide it. So when you hide this notch, you will be back to the regular black bars on the sides. This feature would simply make your device look like the typical device with top bezels.

Oh well, talking about the killer specs of this device the device is powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC and is coupled with a whopping 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. What are your views on this feature using which you can actually remove the notch? Is this really worth it and increases your video watching experience?

Looking at the incoming reports, it seems that OPPO is focussing a lot on budget smartphones to stay in the competition. Two new Selfie-centric OPPO F9 and F9 Pro smartphones have recently passed through Bluetooth Certification. Now, three new devices from OPPO are reported to receive their Bluetooth certification as of July 19 and are alleged to be called as OPPO A2 Pro, OPPO AX5 and the OPPO R15 Neo.

The listing on Bluetooth’s official site reveals the model numbers to be “CPH 1829” and “CPH 1851”. Both the devices are yet to be released and sport the same Bluetooth version 4.2 as seen on the recently passed OPPO F9/F9 Pro and other OPPO devices like the OPPO F7, A5, A3s and the Realme 1.

The OPPO AX5 and R15 Neo appear to be the same phones, with different names for different regions, similar to what we saw with the A5 and A3s. The OPPO A3S launched in India was the same OPPO A5 that was unveiled earlier this month in China.

As far as the listing is concerned, the Oppo A2 Pro holds the model number CPH1829, whereas the Oppo AX5 or Oppo R15 Neo have the model number as CPH1851. The A2 Pro comes with three WCDMA bands and seven LTE bands while the R15 Neo aka AX5 comes with seven WCDMA bands and twelve LTE bands, indicating that either they have either different chipsets or else are prioritised to be sold in different regions.

The OPPO R15 Neo will succeed the previously launched R15 that came with Mediatek Helio P60 SoC. However, it is hard to comment anything about the specifications yet, as the Bluetooth listing revealed only limited things. These smartphones are expected to be launched starting from August 2018. The OPPO F9 and F9 Pro are reported to launch at the same time. Let’s wait for further leaks and reports. Till then, stay tuned.

Published

on

During the launch of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 back in April, Asus announced that the 6GB version will be available a few weeks after the initial sales of the base variants. Now, the company has officially confirmed that the 6GB variant will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart, starting from July 26th.

Here’s the official announcement from Asus India on Facebook:

The 6GB variant of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is not just an upgrade in terms of RAM, but also brings few improvements over the existing 3/32GB and 4/64GB variants.

In addition to the extra 2GB of RAM, the dual camera setup on this variant features a 16MP primary sensor along with a 5MP secondary sensor compared to the 13+5MP setup on the other two. Also, it has a 16MP sensor at the front too, aided by a front flash, which is definitely a major upgrade over the 8MP shooter found on the base variants.

Rest of the specifications remain the same. The device sports a 5.99-inch (2160×1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, maintaining a 15000:1 contrast ratio and 85 per cent NTSC colour gamut coverage. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU.

On the software front, it runs on Stock Android 8.1 Oreo. Connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and MicroUSB are present onboard. Additionally, a dedicated SD card slot is given too for storage expansion up to 2TB. It is backed by a large 5000 mAh battery which unfortunately doesnt support any sort of fast charging.

The upcoming 6/64GB variant will be available for Rs. 14,999 on Flipkart, starting from July 26, at 12 pm IST. The phone is available in Meteor Silver and Deepsea Black colour options. As of now, the 3/32GB and the 4/64GB variants retail for Rs.10,999 and Rs.12,999, respectively. Stay tuned for more updates.
