Everyone wants affordable flagships. OnePlus makes affordable flagships. Well, that ends up in everyone liking the company. Last year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 5 and 5T, which became instant hits. Now it is the OnePlus 6’s turn.
Leaks of the oncoming smartphone have been trending everywhere. The CEO even took a decision to include a notch in the device. You can read more about it here. Right now, the rear view of the smartphone has been leaked.
It has a brushed metal back, as you can see in the picture. However, we saw a glass back version a few days ago. Even then, we saw a phone with a brushed metal back here. Take a look at the latest leak of the OnePlus 6:

Since the two leaks have smartphones with glass backs and brushed metal backs, they must be different variants of the device. Yesterday, the pricing of the OnePlus 6 variants were leaked. It had a higher priced premium variant listed.
We guess the glass back variant must be the OnePlus 6 Premium and has Wireless charging, hence the glass back. However, both smartphones will be powered by the same Snapdragon 845 SoC.
At the same time, what are we seeing here! The rear dual camera configuration isn’t an iPhone copy. It appears to be slightly similar to the Samsung S9 Plus but we will waive that away now.
The phone has a USB C port on the bottom, accompanied by a headphone jack (that sounds like a feature nowadays!). There’s the fingerprint scanner below the dual camera configuration. So we’re not having an under-display sensor. Furthermore, we already know that the device will come with a notch on the front.
The OnePlus 6 is expected to have a 6.28 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The rear cameras are expected to be a 20MP sensor and a 16MP one with 2x optical zoom. The phone will have a battery around 3,500 mAh which also supports Dash Charging. It will come with Android Oreo out of the box. That’s all we know for now.
