HMD Global recently acquired the PureView trademark which hinted that the company was working on a new Nokia smartphone. Now, according to a new report, the company’s next flagship will be called Nokia 9 PureView.
Nokia 9 Pureview. That's the actual marketing name of what will come soon from HMD Global. (I know the bought the rights to the Pureview moniker, but can now confirm it'll be part of the device name.)

This new claim comes from the famous tipster Roland Quandt on his twitter handle @rquandt who adds that the marketing for the new smartphone will kick off soon. Interestingly, this contradicts the previous reports which claim that the device will be delayed for next year.
Currently, HMD has two events scheduled on October 4 and October 11. Based on the leaks and the information available, the company will likely launch the Nokia 7.1 Plus on the October 4 launch event which leaves the next event as a potential venue for the PureView to be be unveiled, we shall wait for more details now.
As for the smartphone the rumour that it will sport five cameras is still a mystery. However, Light has partnered with SoftBank and Leica to develop a multi-camera phone with involvement from FIH Mobile (the Foxconn subsidiary manufacturer of Nokia phones). It still doesn’t answer our question but makes it more plausible. The company has also trademarked PureDisplay which will likely be a follow-up to Nokia’s PureMotion display tech.
