New rumors surfaced online yesterday about a new Nokia phone, which revealed that the Nokia X6 could be the new device that HMD Global is going to release this Friday. The smartphone is expected to come with a 5.8 inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 thus moving away from the in trend, 18:9 ratio.

But that’s not the interesting part. In the past we’ve have seen that ZenFone 5z, Oppo R15 & R15 Dream Mirror and Vivo X21 and few other phones which featured a 19:9 aspect ratio actually featured a iPhone X like notch. It is now speculated that the Nokia X6 could be the first device from Nokia with a notched screen. What’s more, fresh renders of Nokia X6 sporting a notch have surfaced online

From the above image we can see the Nokia 6X could be the first device from Nokia to offer the highest screen to body ratio. Upon a closer look, we can spot the the front camera, sensors and an earpiece on the notch. On the side, the bezels of the device appear quite narrow. The thicker bottom bezels seems to carry the Nokia brand name which is usually found at the top right corner of the device.

The Nokia X6 will most likely be launched at Mobile World Congress 2018 along with Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus. From what we’ve seen the rear side of the X6 resembles the Nokia 7 Plus, with copper accents and the evergreen Carl ZEISS dual camera. To add to that, there’s a fingerprint scanner which is quite surprising considering the fact that most mid rangers have already started offering Face Unlock feature.

Coming to the pricing of the device, the base model of Nokia X6 is expected to be around 1,599 Yuan (almost Rs.17K INR) and is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. The higher variant is will come with a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. It is expected to be priced at around 1,799 Yuan(almost Rs. 19K INR).
