Recent reports have indicated that the next smartphone from HMD Global will be the much awaited Nokia 9 which is equipped with a penta-lens camera setup. The previous reports have shown only the rear design but a new leaked photo of display panel has revealed the front side of the device. Also similar photos of the Nokia X7 have surfaced online.

The leaked image reveals that the Nokia 9 will not feature a notch and has thin bezels. The top bezel holds the earpiece and the front cameras. There is a small chin which will give the smartphone a high screen-to-body ratio.

As for the Nokia X7, the new photo showing the front side reveals that it will also not follow the notch trend. Though the previous X series smartphones like the Nokia X6 and the X5 featured a top notch, the Nokia X7 goes with the traditional top and bottom bezel.

Previous reports have suggested that the Nokia 9 will come with best in class hardware like in-screen fingerprint sensor, curved display and the already confirmed Penta Lens setup. It will be likely powered by Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM. The display is speculated to be a 5.99 inch OLED screen.

While there isn’t much information about the Nokia X7, it was reported earlier that a Nokia smartphone codenamed Pheonix powered by a Snapdragon 710 is in the works, It is widely believed to be the Nokia X7 which will be named Nokia 7.1 Globally. Both the smartphones are expected to be launched this year.
