If reports are correct, then the Nokia 7, the mid-range smartphone from HMD Global will be launched in India this month. The Nokia 7 made its debut in China in October last year. But ever since there has been no information about its global launch, from the manufacturer.
As per a report from Nokiapoweruser, claims that HMD global is planning to launch it in India itself. There is no specific date in the report about the apparent launch of Nokia 7. As per the report, the information is obtained from some retailers, whose names are confidential. There is good chance that the report will be true.
The reports goes further and claims that the device will be sold in India exclusively via amazon. While there is no official reports about the price, it is expected to be priced around ₹20,000. The Nokia 7 comes with a 5.2 inch display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and 4Gb of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable upto 128GB through Micro SD card.
In the camera department, we have a 16MP lens in the rear and an 8MP lens in the front for selfies. It has a fingerprint sensor in the rear. The device features dual sim support(nano) and have almost all necessary sensors.
It is expected that the company will announce the global launch of Nokia 7 along with the announcement of several models including Nokia 9, in an international event scheduled for January 19.
