Sony has always been one of the pioneers in camera and imaging technology, and they’ve managed to develop and produce great phones with a priority on their cameras. They launched Sony’s current flagship, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium last year with a price tag of about 60,000 rupees. Sony is also the first company to develop a phone with a 4K Screen.
Leaks of an alleged Sony device was trending earlier this month, which was spotted on html5test’s website with a codename H8441. It was speculated that the device was Sony’s upcoming phone- Xperia XZ2 Compact. Another Sony phone has passed FCC’s tests for official certification, and We believe that it is the alleged Sony XZ2 Compact.
An 18:9 display has been the show-off point of phones lately, and Sony will definitely use a bezel-less design, mainly due to the fact that the latest leak reports that the phone will have a tiny 5 inch display. Sony is keeping further information under wraps.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC, assisted by 4GB of RAM and a probable 64GB of Internal storage. The device has a 19 MP dual camera setup at the rear while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Sony might provide Android 8.0 out of the box for the phone. It will be powered by a 3000 mAh battery which might support fast charging.
The Mobile World Congress 2018 is coming up and most famous smartphone companies have scheduled the launch of their phones at the tech festival. Sony has scheduled an event on Monday, February 26th on which the company might launch its flagship- the Xperia XZ Pro. We believe that both launches will take place on the same day.
The Sony Xperia XZ Pro, which is said to be the first 18:9 display phone from the company, is also expected to sport a Snapdragon 845 SoC with a dual camera setup and the rear. According to latest leaks, it will also have an 18:9 4K OLED Display with a size of 5.7 inches. It might have 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB of Storage. It will surely have a battery with a capacity over 3000 mAh and Android Oreo out of the box.
