We’re seeing reports of the leaked back panel of successor to Xiaomi’s successful Mi 5x/A1. It seems like Xiaomi is going with Apple’s design style this time around too, with the dual camera setup arranged in a vertical position. This also shows the flash being positioned in between the two cameras, much like the iPhone X.
There’s also one hole on the middle of the device. We’re not sure what that is, it might be left behind for adding the fingerprint scanner. Maybe this is a prototype design too, and the hole may be there for adding the fingerprint later. Anyways, they won’t be placing the fingerprint on the front, especially with the new 18:9 display on the back (they’re not Honor!). The rest of the design is like the previous model, Mi 5x, including the antenna lines and metal back.
Also, there is no confirmation from the company if there is a model named Mi 6X exists or even a second iteration of Android One, the Mi A2.
Now, coming to the specs, we can safely assume that this phone would be carrying over the processor Redmi Note 5 or Mi Max 3 would be coming out with, as Xiaomi tend to share internals with many phones, as it would cut costs. In that case we could be up for Snapdragon 632 or 636. We’ve to wait to know more about the device and let more leaks come!
