While we have already seen foldable smartphones like Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X, other manufacturers are developing their own devices that will be released soon. The next manufacturer to join the list will be Motorola.
The most anticipated Motorola Razr (2019) is a reissue of the legendary best-selling phone of the company with a foldable feature. Now, several press images of the smartphone have leaked online giving a good look of the Motorola Razr (2019) in all its glory.
Unlike the foldable devices of Samsung and Huawei, Motorola didn’t follow the philosophy of creating a device with a large tablet-sized screen. Instead, it created a smartphone with a large screen that can be folded to take up less space.
The Motorola Razr (2019) folds inwards which protects the screen from bumps and scratches. It has a thicker area on the bottom that facilitates closing and prevents the handset from being accidentally deployed. Since none of the filtered images shows the device in a closed state, it is not known if it will be fully folded or there will be a gap between both the screens as in the case of Galaxy Fold.
Currently, the Lenovo owned manufacturer has not released any official word on the price or availability of the Motorola Razr (2019). According to the rumors, it will be somewhat more affordable than the Samsung and Huawei devices at around $1,500. It is more likely to go against foldable smartphones from OPPO and Xiaomi.
