Motorola India has taken to Twitter to announce that it’s flagship, the Z2 Force will be launching on February 15. The launch would be a day after the Redmi Note 5 launch scheduled to take place on February 14. Moto has also informed that the launch event would start on 12 PM, February 15.
Here’s the tweet from Moto:
Never slow down, thanks to the 6,220 mAh power* on the Limited Edition #MotoZ2Force with #MotoTurboPowerMod! What’s more? Get ready to shatter limitations of fragile phone screens! Catch the live unveiling on 15th February at 12 Noon, here – https://t.co/2gaSVmx0T6 pic.twitter.com/B35pHBDqIV

Furthermore, the company has added that the TurboPower Pack mod will come bundled with the phone. The mod for Moto Phones unveiled last December 2017 has a price tag of 5,999 rupees. Moto guarantees that the mod will provide you an extra day of usage. 30W Fast charging comes enabled on the mod, and you can charge 50% in just 20 minutes.
The flagship phone was launched on July last year. I personally feel that Moto has delayed the launch of the phone too much, since the new range of flagships are about to come up. MWC 2018 will showcase many of the new flagships including the Samsung S9 and S9+.
The phone comes with a Dual Camera setup on the backup, comprising of one monochrome and one color sensor. The two sensors provide data that is combined for the final result. The selling point of the Moto Z2 Force is that it comes with a 5.5 inch Quad HD Display and Shattershield technology. Moto has guaranteed that the Screen won’t shatter or crack.
Motorola had launched the 6GB RAM variant of Moto X4 in India recently. The phone powered by the battery efficient Snapdragon 630 and a 3000 mAh battery, comes with the latest Android Oreo out of the box.
Moto Z2 Force Specifications
- 5.5 inch Quad HD POLED Shatter proof display
- Snapdragon 835 SoC
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB internal storage
- Dual 12MP rear camera/5MP front camera
Nostalgic Moto Razr to make a Comeback, as a Foldable Phone!
One of the most loved cellphone in the history the Motorola Razr is coming back as an high end device. The device will be an foldable one and expected to be priced at $1500. The return of the phone isn’t confirmed yet, it’s still just a rumour.
Things have changed over time, and Motorola is now owned by Lenovo. The company is bringing back the nostalgic device in an high end segment. For most of the users that was the first “cool” cellphone that they have used.
As per Wall Street Journal report, the phone will be launched somewhere in February. The device is said to be exclusive for Verizon in the US.
As said earlier the device is rumoured to be a foldable one and the Moto by Lenovo could actually beat Samsung in the segment. However we don’t have more information on the device like the internals.
Remember the Razr? Motorola's once-popular flip phone is being revived—this time as a $1,500 smartphone with a foldable screen. https://t.co/rLYHstwAEg

Reports suggest that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855, the most powerful chip in the market and will be coming with a foldable OLED screen. However the screen will not break or crease. This is all about the information we’ve got about the device.
The less interesting part of high end devices, the pricing, as said earlier the phone is supposed to be priced at $1500.
As mentioned above, the phone is supposed to be launched somewhere in February, so we don’t have to wait more for the specifications of the device. Adding to this, Wall Street Journal reported that the company would manufacture 200,000 units, so there wouldn’t be a massive availability for the device. Summing it up we can understand that the device is going to be a Limited edition one, and will be a pretty pricey one.
Vivo Apex 2019 to be unveiled in China on 24th January!
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to unveil their latest smartphone, the Vivo Apex 2019 in China on January 24. The first Vivo Apex was first shown as a concept in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) last year, and had a 98 percent screen- to- body ratio. The news of the new launch comes amidst the rising competition in the smartphone market.
Vivo had recently teased the launch of a new smartphone on January 24th in China, and it was speculated that the device will be the Apex 2019. Now, the poster released by the company confirms that the device launching on 24 January is indeed the Vivo Apex 2019.
Reports claims that the device is codenamed as “The Waterdrop“, and will be coming with a full screen display, without any kind of notch, bezels or physical buttons. It is expected that the Vivo will introduce advanced gestures and pressure sensitive buttons to ease the navigation on board the Apex 2019.
“A year ago, Vivo APEX portrayed a new world of full screens. A year later, #vivo APEX 2019# evolved again, using technology to wake up to the future. See you on January 24.”, the caption on the poster released by Vivo about the unveil said, when translated.
Rumors suggests that the Apex 2019 might come with a 8GB RAM configuration. But considering the features of the phone, it is possible that Vivo might also launch a model with higher memory configuration such as 10GB or 12GB of RAM.
Vivo is also expected to offer a sixth generation in-screen fingerprint scanner with larger detection area and improved speed. The Apex 2019 may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, which is manufactured using the 7nm process and offers higher efficiency and performance.
The price and other information about the specifications of the Vivo Apex 2019 is not known as for now. It is also very likely that the Chinese manufacture might showcase the Apex 2019 in the MWC that is scheduled for february in Barcelona.
