Motorola launched the Moto Z3 flagship last year in August with an old 2017’s SD 835 chipset instead of the then latest SD 845. Due to this, reason the company is back soon with an upgrade. The Lenovo owned company is reportedly working on its successor- Moto Z4 which will house a Snapdragon 855 and now the press images has surfaced online revealing its design aspects.
The image reveals that the Moto Z4 will have sleek bezels with a waterdrop notch on top. At the back, it has the pogo pins confirming Moto Mod support. There is a single camera at the rear which is surprising for the smartphone in 2019. However, rumours point that the sensor is a 48MP one sourced from Sony.
There is no visible fingerprint sensor on the Moto Z4, which means it will likely sport a under display one. Other things that we can ascertain from the leaked image are the placement of power button and volume rocker on right and a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom. The display mentions April 3 date on the lockscreen which might be its launch date.
Now, a similar looking phone that was referred to as the Moto Z4 Play was leaked in January but the source of the current leak says Motorola has no plans to launch a Play variant in the Z series in 2019. It means that either the render is fake or the project was scrapped. Other details about the Moto Z4 isn’t available right now but if Motorola plans to launch it on April 4, we can expect the teasers to arrive soon.
