A few days earlier, the Moto P30 lineup came out of sudden on Motorola‘s official website, confirming the existence of the Moto P30, P30 Play and the P30 Note. Additionally, the Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to launch these new midrangers tomorrow on August 15, in China. Now, just a day prior to the official launch, the Moto P30 has appeared in few of the press renders leaked on social networking website Weibo, along with its specifications.

The leaked press renders indicate that P30 will sport a Notch (will be the first Moto phone to do so) on top of an edge to edge display with sleek bezels and a thin bottom chin. The notch is shaped and sized similarly to the iPhone X.

Further following the design language of the iPhone X, we have a similar vertically stacked dual camera at the rear with an LED flash in between. The back also houses a Moto dimple which is expected to double up as a fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the device seems to have rounded corners and a metal unibody design.

Coming to the leaked specifications, the Moto P30 is reported to come with a 6.2-inch fullscreen display bearing an aspect ratio of 19:9 with 2.5D curved glass on top.

Moreover, a 3000mAh battery with 18W Quick Charging support is expected to power the phone. As per the leaked renders above, the phone will be coming in three colour options including white, black and a gradient blue-purple option which looks identical to the twilight version of Huawei P20 Pro.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Motor P30’s base variant with 64GB of storage is expected to come for RMB 1,999 (roughly Rs 20,400), while the higher 128GB model will be priced at RMB 2,399 (roughly Rs 24,400). Given that the launch is tomorrow itself, stay tuned.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) Renders & Hands On Leaked, Shows Off it’s Triple Cameras!

samsung galaxy a7 2018

Samsung recently announced they will be focusing on bringing new technology and innovation to its mid-range devices before its flagships.  A new report hints that Samsung will keep true to its word.

A new hands-on image and a press renders of the Galaxy A7 (2018) surfaced online showing it will sport a triple camera setup in the rear, the first time ever for a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. It not only raises the bar of mid-range smartphones but giving a positive nod to the upcoming S10 series next year.

Take a look at the renders:

Here’s the hands on image that was re[prted:

The triple camera like the one seen on Huawei P20 Pro suggests that it will feature up to 3X optical zoom. But since it is a mid-range device, the company may opt for a 2X lossless zoom instead of a 3X one. A wide-angle lens similar to the LG flagships is also expected. It will likely come with OIS, EIS and support for 4K video recording at 30fps.

This is not the first time the vertical three lens camera has been leaked. It was rumoured far back as July and is speculated to have similar specs to last year’s Galaxy A8 Plus that was powered by an Exynos 7885 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

There is also a rumour that the handset will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Samsung new liking for the side mounted fingerprint sensor is not limited to this device, it can be seen in the Galaxy S10 (base variant) as well as the  Galaxy J6 Plus and the Galaxy J4 Plus. The renders show a slight indent when looked closely confirming the speculations.

Samsung has been teasing the smartphone with taglines related to cameras like “Capture the fun with Samsung” and “4X fun” hinting the four cameras. The Galaxy A7 (2018) will be unveiled at an event on October 11.

Redmi Note 5

Redmi Note series always have been the best sellers for Xiaomi. And this year’s Redmi Note 5 Pro wasn’t different. And we’ve been hearing about the news that Xiaomi is preparing to launch the next phone in their Note series early. We’ve even saw some reports about details of the phone. But this might just be the first ever hands on photo of the device. Take a look:

redmi note 6 pro

You can clearly see the basic specifications of the device from the screen protector. Which shows off:

  • 20+2MP Dual Selfie camera
That’s a first for a Redmi device and the 2MP depth sensor really sounds like something coming from Honor devices.
  • 12+5MP Dual camera
  • Below that, we can see the description of 1.4um large pixels with Dual Pixel autofocus. That really sounds like the camera setup from Redmi Note 5 AI Dual Camera (global variant of Redmi Note 5 Pro).
  • 6.26 inch Full Screen display
That’s an upgrade from 5.99 inch display of Note 5 Pro, that dimensions also mean there’s the presence of notch as we saw from the earlier reports. Although we can’t really confirm if the notch is a water drop notch that we saw in Oppo F9 Pro, Vivo V11 Pro & Honor 8x series recently.
  • 4000mAh battery
Staple of Redmi Note series, battery capacity remains unchanged.

This leak doesn’t reveal much about the device other than these. But earlier reports have revealed that the phone could be coming with a Snapdragon 660 SoC, but it could very well be Snapdragon 636 from Note 5 Pro itself. Anyways, let’s just wait for more leaks and reports now.

NOTE: Take the leaks with a pinch of salt as this could very well be an edited image, but the sticker does look very much convincing and the dual selfie camera is something unique for a Redmi phone.
Also, the phone on the featured image is a Redmi Note 5 Pro, and is used just for represetation.

Recent reports have indicated that the next smartphone from HMD Global will be the much awaited Nokia 9 which is equipped with a penta-lens camera setup. The previous reports have shown only the rear design but a new leaked photo of display panel has revealed the front side of the device. Also similar photos of the Nokia X7 have surfaced online.

The leaked image reveals that the Nokia 9 will not feature a notch and has thin bezels. The top bezel holds the earpiece and the front cameras. There is a small chin which will give the smartphone a high screen-to-body ratio.

As for the Nokia X7, the new photo showing the front side reveals that it will also not follow the notch trend. Though the previous X series smartphones like the Nokia X6 and the X5 featured a top notch, the Nokia X7 goes with the traditional top and bottom bezel.

Previous reports have suggested that the Nokia 9 will come with best in class hardware like in-screen fingerprint sensor, curved display and the already confirmed Penta Lens setup. It will be likely powered by Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM. The display is speculated to be a 5.99 inch OLED screen.

While there isn’t much information about the Nokia X7, it was reported earlier that a Nokia smartphone codenamed Pheonix powered by a Snapdragon 710 is in the works, It is widely believed to be the Nokia X7 which will be named Nokia 7.1 Globally. Both the smartphones are expected to be launched this year.
