Motorola‘s Moto M lineup is that only lineup which wasn’t able to get into the spotlight,  like other lineup’s & it’s been more than a year we have encountered the first ever device of the lineup, which is the Moto M, later a lot of rumours were gathered in these following years suggesting that the device is soon going to get a successor.

According to a recent report, the next phone in Moto M lineup is spotted in WiFi alliance website, carrying model number XT1902, has cleared the listing, suggesting a name Moto M2, with MT6757 chipset, obviously coming from MediaTek, otherwise known as Helio X20.

Another such report was also encountered last June 2017 where a similar device surfaced on the Wi-Fi Alliance report showing the same model number XT1902, adding to that the device at that time also carried android 7.1.1  Nougat and a MediaTek MT6797 chipset, also known to be as Helio X20. If we look at its other line up devices than Moto only packs high-end flagship SoC’s in them comparative to that it’s really dissapointing to see such MediaTek chipsets in the M lineup devices.

Apart from that the Wi-Fi Alliance Listing also reveals a couple of other details of this upcoming successor of Moto M is also expected to get android 8.0 out of the box which pretty much every Moto phone’s are getting this year, apart from that there are no other details available on the listing. Besides that, 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of expandable storage configuration is also seen on the previous model configuration.

Although the phone is also expected to get an 18:9 aspect ratio design with a bigger 5.99 inch FHD+ panel display as because Moto is now shifting their respective phones towards that specific direction. Moreover, in terms of size, the device is said to be a complete blend of  Moto G6 Plus with respect to the G5S Plus.

Along with that, there are a couple of other obvious specs which are also expected to be present in the device such as Fast Charging, Face Unlock, perhaps a dual camera setup might be seen.

Overall these are just verbal expectations based on the appearance of the device on the Wi-Fi Alliance, so take these just a pinch of salt, who knows what might actually be coming packed with it, yet nothing is confirmed including the pricing of the phone as well as the release date. However, it can only be expected to launch very soon.
